Have to say I'm not saying us HM for the cache of the name, purely as a seperate brand from Hornby.
I fear the failure to openly accept there is modelling life outside Hornby lis ultimately going to turn hm7000 into the next Railmaster
I think they'd have done better developing H&M as a DCC/Tech brand outside the limitations of the Hornby eco system, allowing them to develop hm7000 to it's full potentional with sound profiles as a cost option (maybe Hornby locos would come with a QR code that allowed you to download a free sound profile for whatever loco)
I think I'd be expecting more of a halfway house system to hm7000, maybe not Bluetooth chios, but a Bluetooth base stating, and a front end working of an andriod/apple device. 400quid for a handset that looks about 2010 seems a bit too much.
So Simon's gone, he always seemed to be the driver behind the big annual announcement format. So will they continue this tradition? Inhave thins nightmare idea where they double down with a big media event and have Pete Waterman hosting..
Long shot how about the new GBRF Weedkiller train?
Maybe a 'rich uncle' train pack with 2 gbrf 66s?
(And get the rhtt from hattons for some thing similar...)
Oh well I've pre-ordered one. I've always fancied trying modelling something local, and living close the the CWL allows some minimum space diaroma options...Sugar Loft Halt anyone???
