Got some bad news concerning 51218. Recently, 51218's motor burnt out while undergoing test runs after a service on Tuesday at the club. I'm unable to find a replacement motor despite looking on Ebay for one. I've removed the motor earlier tonight so it has now got a free rolling chassis. However, all is not lost as it'll still be part of Oxendale's loco fleet but will be working with another loco as it is no longer powered.

Well that was rude of him. (I seem to can't remove the laughing emoji hence why it's still there) -
That's Hornby for you

I've recently brought a light fitted 3rd class 6 wheel coach in BR crimson to use on Oxendale. I've already got a baggage brake to accompany it. The baggage brake My aim is to have a rake of them so this a start. I'm also looking at getting a brake and a 1st class coach.

Ohh. So it's not a loco turntable as I first thought. Where has it been built? -
Five volunteers SUSPENDED from NYMR

The only turntable I'm aware of is the one at Pickering. So the question is where is the other one? -
Five volunteers from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway have been suspended from the railway following an investigation into the unregulated activities of a group running one of the line’s historic stations. The volunteers were from the Levisham Station Group and allegations against the group have been made by managers. Some of the allegations include: Volunteers had built a turntable for trains without permission They were charging for use of the free cottage and offering it as short break accommodation. Volunteers were abusive and threatening towards staff That ‘unknown’ persons were part of the group without going through the official recruitment process. Parts of the station had been vandalised – with locks broken and superglued,‘values’ booklets ripped up and a framed photograph defaced ‘Misleading’ claims that Levisham Station was to close were also reportedly made. Class 04 11226 (Bachmann) 11226 is my most recent purchase. It was brought from the model shop opposite Grosmont level crossing in September this year. Class 20 D8156 (Bachmann) Class 24 D5061 (Bachmann) The real D5061 is part of the NYMR fleet and is currently stored awaiting overhaul at Grosmont MPD.

NYMR resident 37264's makeover

So like in the photos above then? -
The NYMR's resident Class 37, 37264, is currently receiving a makeover in Grosmont MPD. Here's what it looked like before: And here's what it currently looks like (not my photo): Now, the most noticable changes are the round buffers, the bits in green and what could be a 4 character headcode box. A livery change has also been confirmed so it could be in BR green as D6964.

I didn't sell them on eBay. I sold them via posting in various groups on Facebook. I did get a lot of interest though. Manged to sell the lot for £175! Though, many of the items were brought second hand or gifted to me. And yes, the money will be used to boost Draxbridge's rolling stock. I think I've got enough stock for Oxendale.

I've just sold my model railway collection. Just Hornby, Lima, Bachmann and Airfix locos and rolling stock I had which I wasn't probably going to use anymore. I haven't sold the rolling stock for Draxbridge and Oxendale plus a few other bits and pieces though.
