  1. Take it steady, I know what it's like to try to rush the getting better, still signed off after 2 months for a busted wrist... Ashton will still be there, think out a job list plan of action, write lists and read up stuff...

  3. Very nice looks very much like parts of the SR mainline to Exeter... is it possible to reload the missing photos? Noted your comments on heating, I have used two tubular oil filled radiant heaters in my garage / workshop for the last 20 years running them 24/7 executive in the hight of summer, they keep paperwork dry and tools rust free
  4. On another point is this stock only going to be propelled along the line as or have you got a cunning plan for coupling up this end?

  13. With the talk by @KNP over at Little Muddle it got me thinking I need a weed killer train on Exhill.... I am away at my daughters so rummaged around found paper and pencils in the granddaughters art box and came up with the concept sketch below... The first wagon has the drum containing the weedkiller will be a small barrel that came from the Falkirk wheel shop originally contained whiskey 😀 - now long since enjoyed.. This will have the sprayer bars and nozzles. The middle one will have a small donkey engine and crankshaft driven pump and controls. And the third wagon will have the concentrated weedkiller in drums and possabily sacks along with a second water tank. Still in the design thought process stage...

Saw a Artic one going to a rally last summer pulling up the A30 from Honiton toward Exeter with a 2 axle twin wheel trailer complete with a period brick pallet Hiab on the trailer There's also one used as a lowloader with a Swan neck single rear axle trailer with removable rear wheel set for loading

Hope all works out for you Graham, I too am on the move once Dads house is sold (proceeds to be split with my brother and grandchildren) and our house on the market.... hopefully we can find somewhere with a decent garage for workshop etc. Then Exhill MK 2 can be reborn... I have one or two ideas up my sleeve. But we need a buyer first
