    I noticed on the advertisement on the Rails website .the artwork shows the post 1978 design of OHLW . picture attached shows the 2 variations .L/H POST 1978 .R/H PRE 1978, as used on loco when built.The picture of the set shows the OHLW above cab door handrail .PICTURE Flikr

    A photograph of my limited edition D5578 manufactured by LIMA way back when, no longer available. As yu an see it carried a unique colour scheme being painted in electric blue I believe. Wouldn't i be nice if Accurasale would produce this an exclusive special edition - HINT HINT :)

    Indeed. I did have a defective 21t MDW ,& the defective wagon was turned around in 14 days. Had issues with my 55 but they were resolved when the parts became available .

    Have too say the Spares Service run by Bachmann is exceptionally good. I ordered on Tuesday and they've arrived today, however, they've ben in business since 1990 and, as you rightly say, they've accumulated a vast catalogue of spare parts as have Hornby who, unfortunately, don't run a spares parts service like the Bachmann service.
