Introducing Coffee and Cocoa - brother and sister who are rescue cats and were found abandoned as kittens a few days old in a shed behind the Symphony Hall in Brum. I've had them since they were found - they have got me through two significant crisis in my life and have honestly kept me going at times. Cocoa has never grown up and still suckles my jumpers!! Miss Coffee Cocoa being his usual active self...

Thank to everyone who responded to my query. I have just got round to doing a decoder reset (CV 8 to 8). The decoder is now working correctly and sound is all working too. But the lights are stuck on in one direction - F0 has no impact and they stay on even if the loco is running in the other direction (in which case, both headlights are on). If anyone knows a way of just getting the lights turned permanently off (I'm not bothered about them to be honest!), it will save me having to return the decoder. Hi - they were unpainted metal in BR blue days

Hi. Today I put a Hornby class 47 TTS decoder into my Bachmann class 47 using an 8 to 21 pin adapter. The loco ran fine for half an hour on my rolling road so I programmed up its 4 digit address. Then retested - all working fine. I have just put the loco on my layout again All was as expected for about 20 minutes. Then the loco just stopped and the sound went off. Now it’s completely dead except the lights come on and off at one end - no sounds at all or sign of the loco moving. Can someone advise me please what I have done wrong. When it was running OK, my Powercab was showing it was pulling about 0.3 amps. But now when I put in on the track it’s showing 2.4 amps. Just downloaded the digital version - another excellent edition full of useful articles. Well done to everyone involved with its production - especially bearing in mind the tricky circumstances of late.

In the 1970s I was a ball boy at Chelsea and recall seeing several class 74s passing the back of Stamford Bridge on Cross London freights alongside the more common 33s, 73s and 47s.

Would someone with the blue and grey liveried 117 please kindly post a few detail photos - really can't make my mind up whether to get a blue/grey one or wait until the overall blue version makes an appearance! Thanks, take care, stay safe and happy

The station building has been renovated and turned into a conference centre. I’ve been there for a couple of events, it has been tastefully restored and makes for an excellent venue.

We used to catch the Perth express back to Bletchley after we had midweek games at Chelsea where I was a ballboy. I remember one night we got to Euston as it was leaving, my dad grabbed me and lifted me up into an open door of the guards van as the train started to move off - that would never happen these days!

your class 310 looks amazing, the interior is fantastic. I love the wood panelling at the end of the carriages, brings back happy memories of commuting on them for many years in the 70s and 80s. Would love to see more photos of them!

Going all 'old school' but very much Bletchley flyover related... One morning in the 70's, my dad was sitting in a 310 in platform 6 waiting for his daily morning commute into London. A northbound cement train went by hauled by a 25, but it was rather noisier than normal as this was happening (sorry for the poor quality photos - taken by a very young me!).

I've got Lais 21 pin decoders in both my Dapol class 122's - have had no problems at all Take care and stay safe.

Haven't done an update for a while (apologies!), so here are a few recent photos. I have finished adjusting all the points to solve a few random derailments I was having, relaid the track in the fiddle yard, got the turntable working and relaid track in the depot so I can fit in the loco depot. I've also added signals and a few other scenic details.
