The included manual has a set of pin configs (should also be on a yellow ‘warning’ card). The pin arrangement is different for DC , an ESU chip or a non ESU chip

Sorry to hear that. We’d be very keen to hear details of your layout, what else was running, controller type etc in advance of the return Dave if at all possible.
Pixie is actually the Production Manager, so he oversees all projects, and manages the 'programme' of production. We do have a large and growing team of project managers however, and many many many many projects underway not yet announced :)
So far almost every 37 made is unique in some or many ways so renumbering would be against our ‘accuracy’ mandate however the numbers do run off quite well with a dab of ipa on a cotton bud.
If you read the thread you’ll see it’s primarily Voltage or controller issues with a small subset again being a genuine motor issue. As per that thread, any issues post run in and a dcc reset if on digital drop our super team a line or a sms or a dm or live chat.
I’d caution against that as you’ll change the resistance and may risk blowing a speaker. There are a range of CVs for volume. If you want to raise the volume on the prime mover CV just drop us a line and we can assist
