    Sorry. I thought I had explained that in the first post. I bought it as faulty knowing it would not work as a true Power Cab but was/is OK as a Slave. Lord knows who or why someone did that to it. I've decided to leave alone for now. Thanks Dave.

    Guys. Check out this behaviour when plugging in. It works perfectly as a slave to another Cab. All wiring checked as OK. Also, is there a component missing in the centre of the still pic above the word 'GND'. Should it we a line of four? Voltage regulator has been replaced just in case. Is there a known mod for the Power Cab. Lastly, I backdated it to an old V1.23 chip. Makes no difference. Dave.

    Firstly, the reason I asked about it being a possible scam is that scams are everywhere these days. Secondly, how am I to know that you send out invoices 60-90 days in advance? Thirdly, the email has no mention of not needing to be paid until the loco is in stock. Dave.

    I haven't seen this show mentioned anywhere as yet. Its at Durrington High School in Worthing. W Sussex. Seems to be mainly Industrial and Narrow Gauge railways. However, our H0 US based DCC layout 'K' Street Yard will be making a rare outing to the show. Carshalton & Sutton MRC

    ClickC. It looks as though you might live in Sheffield but if you have a friend or someone who can attend ExpoEM in Bracknell Berks, they sell differing types of rail in yard lengths at the show. It's coming up very soon. Dave.

    The Trestle board has now had new terrain applied.

    Now that the new track has been laid, the next step for Eight Dollar was to strip the scenery form the 'trestle' board in readiness for new details. Dave.

    New third track is in place now together with the new crossings into the fiddleyard. Unlike previously, all six new crossings are 'Frog Juicer' controlled. Dave.

    Sometimes you need to start up with the Power Cab on its own, then after, say, 10 secs, plug in the Pro Cab handset set to an acceptable Cab Number. It depends on the Power Cab hardware version. Try it. Dave.
