      have you tried measuring it up accuratly then clamping down a ruler along the line you need to cut.. i do this for most things and never dissapointed,( only ever made one mistake like it) :)

      I have similar problems, am going to get my station laser cut by York models. Tip above looks good, especially as my fingers don't grip that well now!
