  1. I can certainly empathise with all of that Rob - over a decade ago now I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis ('you what?' I said to the consultant!) - among other things (chronic fatique being the worst) I also have constant pins and needles in both my hands and feet - and the former get shaky and cold and my feet are always like ice! I also developed type 2 diabetes as a result of the weight gain from the steroids used to treat the MG (you have to laugh!) This has also caused the arthritis in my fingers to get worse, and I'm sure many sheep are actually far less clumsy in the use of their hooves! But I have the same attitude as you - there are people far worse off than me (especially so this last year) and I can still crack on with my modelling, so things aren't anywhere near as bad as can be, eh?! Keep your Pecketts up! Keith
  2. I agree with the chaps above. And if I don't like an image I just don't press the Like button! Keith
  3. Lovely little engine Rob, the weathering really is superb! Never tire of seeing pics of the little guy! Keith
  4. What a lovely way to spend 7&1/2 minutes on a miserable, cold, grey February day in lockdown - thank you for brightening it up! Keith
  5. What everyone else said Rob - get well very soon. Hope the rest of the family are fit and well. Keith
  6. When I opened the post I was convinced the first pic was of the real railway. In fact I'm still not sure that it isn't....!! Keith
  7. Talking of childhood memories, the lovely colour of the water in that pond takes me back to summer days over 50 years ago to when my friends and I used to go net fishing for newts and sticklebacks in the lovely cool waters in the ponds behind the old quarry behind our houses - all gone now, covered in landfill... This is an absolutely lovely piece of modelling Bob, really very atmospheric - cracking stuff! Keith
  8. The weathering on those is just absolutely brilliant!! Top, top work Rob! Keith
  9. I've loved all your layouts Rob, and I don't know why, but there's something very special about this little one - really lovely stuff! Keith
  10. Is it just me, or has the thread suddenly shrunk to two thirds the width it used to be, with a vast acreage of plain blue topped by an empty white bar on the right? Looks really weird. Unlike Sheep Dip which is already looking rather nice! Keith
  11. And looks great in moving pictures Rob! Certainly gets my 'Best in Show' vote from the layouts in the video! Keith
  12. Thanks Rob, shows just how effective your modelling is, as it looks so much bigger! Keith
  13. Wonderful! But my apologies Rob as I'm losing track (no pun intended!), how big is this one, and what bit of the Ikea catalogue is it built on? Keith
