Suburban SE London terminus or another quiet Kentish branch terminus?
-
Details of the new Swindon - Kemble - Gloucester book that I have co-authored can be found here - http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/91415-new-book-on-kemble-line/?p=1625278

Can a man have too many Wainwright C Class models? I think the answer is no.

Daughter passed driving test today with only 1 minor fault at first attempt. I'm dead chuffed as I WAS her driving instructor
-
My late father was a driving examiner but would not teach both me and my brother to drive as he did not think it right that he could have been seen giving us lessons.
Instead he paid for us to get lessons from an instructor he had confidence in.
..and I then cleared off to Hong Kong, did some more lessons and passed my test there.

I'm getting rather partial to 10000 and 10001. Do you think I could get away with running one of them over the Somerset & Dorset...?

has been watching a programme about North Korea. Very strange place.
-
Closest I got was viewing the North Korean watchtowers from the US/South Korean Side of the DMZ - all rather eerie. Strangest thing was inside the building where the north/south meetings were held with the border marking running through the middle of the room. Could also see the truncated train track running northwards.

But that's pretty good as there's so much snow in Tokyo today and the roads are chaos

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=4470973066358&set=a.3929728175574.151619.1650818907&type=1 shows how low and nasty some people actually are. Just because there are others that behave that way doesn't make it appropriate. I can take a joke as much as anyone, from friends or even at myself but I do draw the line at snide people taking pops.
