  1. I like the grease marks on the right-hand door of the wagon shed - wonder how they got there?!
  2. If it does happen to be the unit in the picture (ie a Northern one), don't worry about fitting sound chips in all the cars - they often only ran with 3 engines working!
  3. Looks great - bet you can't wait until you can't see the track for the stock!
  4. I've only been to Waverley once (so far!), but even I can recognise the station throat - it looks great
  5. Look forward to seeing more pictures - looks like you've got a chance to practice some interesting shunting puzzles!
  6. You've certainly produced an amazing layout! Re the shopping trollies, I read on another thread that Bill Bedford produces an etch - HTH.
  7. Looking good so far!
  8. The staithes look amazing - I'm really impressed with the indentations from the chairs!
  9. Good luck with the move - and don't worry, we'll all be here waiting for the pictures of your handiwork!
  10. They look good - only another how many to fill Bangor and Conwy?!
  11. Re the pit lights: At Newton Heath, the pit lights are split into two, so either half of each road can be lit. I imagine it's the same at loco-only depots!
  12. Wow! Just that one station board is larger than a lot of people's complete layouts!
  13. Although I've never been there, from the pictures I've seen your last picture appears to capture the scene perfectly!
  14. The picture with the castle just visible make you realise just how large this layout really is!
  15. The bridge looks great! It's only in the last picture - where the loco is visible - that the scale of it becomes apparent.
  16. I would imagine that the ex-Royal Mail coaches have been bought purely for the bogies / wheelsets, although one or two may escape the totch to become store coaches.
  17. It's looking great! Seeing the photo of the threaded bar supports makes your idea clearer now. An elegant solution to what could have been a mass of plywood and 2"x2".

Worsley Works did offer a Leyland Lynx 'scratch-aid' kit a few years ago (not sure if it's still available though).
  19. I can imagine that the castle will be a great showpiece once it's done!
  20. Get yourself onto wnxx.com and search on the Fleet List. It will give you all the info you need!
  21. There are some amazing layouts on RMweb and this is definately one of them. I have had a few holidays along the North Wales coast and the pictures of your layout bring the memories back!
