Loco line up on depots,
Would anyone happen to know if depots had specific instructions to stable certain types of locos on certain lines or in specific types for looking at a lot of depots the same classes often seem to stable on certain roads. saw one of Barrow Hill with all the 20s in one long line will the 47s and 56 were each on seperate roads of half a dozen a piece for example.....?
The other point is, where drivers instructed to spead the locos out across the stabling roads, or was it just common sense to avoid trapping in too many locos should one fail
