  20. Evening, was surprised to see a copy of a diagram showing a proposed APT depot at Carlisle Upperby, two track, 280m long, would anyone happen to know anything about this proposed depot?
  21. Evening, after Kingmoor shut in 88, Upperby received an allocated of its 08s until 1995, but by that time who ran it? Also in the Directory of British Engine sheds its says Currock had 08s until it closed in 1999 but the site http://www.gronkgeek.co.uk/2015/ says EWS closed it in 2007. Would anyone know what happened in that 1995 to closure of Currock?

Loco line up on depots, Would anyone happen to know if depots had specific instructions to stable certain types of locos on certain lines or in specific types for looking at a lot of depots the same classes often seem to stable on certain roads. saw one of Barrow Hill with all the 20s in one long line will the 47s and 56 were each on seperate roads of half a dozen a piece for example.....? The other point is, where drivers instructed to spead the locos out across the stabling roads, or was it just common sense to avoid trapping in too many locos should one fail Preston Ladywell 121281 img1702-208110-a Preston Ladywell 121281 img1702-208110-a 12th December 1981 A typical early 80s line up of thee Class 40s and a Class 25 in Ladywell Sidings, Preston.
