Gday all, I am wanting to pre-order some of these coaches to run an accurate set. I model BR Southern Region in the South West roughly 1950-65. Were they only used as two coach sets or were there any semi-permanent 3 sets. Could someone with more knowledge than me please let me know what ones I need to make up a 2 or 3 coach set. I have looked at the Southern e group coach allocations list and as far as I can tell it doesn't list these. Have also got a copy or Goulds - Maunsell SR Steam Carriage Stock but just got confused. Any other references for research would be much appreciated. Thank you so much in advance. Regards G. Jones

To quote myself, just for clarity. I have no agenda other than to hopefully get my new baseboards together before I am seconded to do any bloody more gardening or decorating! I'm happy these vans are being produced and available for me to pre-order. I again congratulate Kernow and DJM for announcing this great looking piece of very useful rolling stock. PS. By all means voice concerns, but dont go on about it repeatedly and do it at the appropriate time. The opportunity to contribute something positive to the design process has long since passed. The train has left the station!!

I wholeheartedly agree. The time for input into design has long passed. The time is now to wait and see what is produced, the proof is in the pudding!! This forum as far as I see it is for modeling and inspiration, not axe grinding or band wagon riding. I for one am sure that Kernow and the learned minds they have consulted in the whole process will produce a quality product.
