Wonky? I'm not suprised I'm upside down :)

  3. Congrats, I as always enjoy dropping in on Wencombe to see not only some great modelling but the fantastic photos and stories that go along with it. Thank you. PS. Not being pedantic and tongue stuck firmly in cheek, but after being described as a typical Australian in another thread do you mean 'Crikey"?
  4. Well thats 3-0 and another series gone! Getting embarassing now.

  5. Just had an email from Hattons - On or after 5th of September, so still aways of yet!
  6. Errr! As my wife says when i'm Iooking for something around the house thats right in front of me "try looking with your eyes!" After pulling out the white bit of card my instructions/paperwork were hiding behind there.
  7. Mine doesnt either!! or any other paperwork that you would normally get, just a bag with the coupler insert bits.
  8. An Esso liveried one has just arrived downunder from a well known retailer in Liverpool. Fantastically fast delivery - ordered on New Years Day and arrived today the 8th!! First impressions are that it looks really good, very weighty and a lot smaller than I was expecting. Most importantly though there are no bits broken off or missing! The red colour is also a lot darker than what I thought it was going to be. In a lot of photos I have seen its looks lighter, almost a shade of pink. Must be something to do with the photo colour reproduction or my computer screen! It has had a quick run on the rolling road and seems very smooth straight from the outset, very quiet running. I will post up some photos later when I get home from work. If anyone is wavering about getting one of these/pre-ordering in any livery I can heartily recommend that you go for it, you won't be disappointed. The value for money. performance that I have seen so far and the finish in my humble opinion are superb. Regards Glenn
  9. Thank you so much Ray for getting back to me. Will get in contact with Digitrains and have a bit of an investigation. Loving the rest of the layout as well by the way, particularly how you have done the quay area. Regards Glenn
  10. Hi Ray, just wanted to say that is an excellent job on the M7. Very neat installation that sounds great too. Did you put the decoder itself in the side tank? I'm very interested in replicating this in one of my M7's. Could I ask what was the order code on the speaker you used? Is it 8ohm as I cant see one similar on the Digitrains website. Thank you, Regards Glenn

  13. This thread has been slumbering for six months until bumped today. This leads me to ask the inevitable questions of are there any updates construction wise or maybe some new photos?? Cheers G.
  14. Graeme Swanns Nana is very upset! HeHe!

  15. Lovely 2-0 up in the Ashes. No dodgy English weather to help you this time I'm afraid. Who needs sledgeing either when you've Mitchell Johnson to take a sledgehammer to the batting lineup. Bring on Perth!!!!!

The fast wickets at the WACA will be hell for the batsmen, but they won't be out in the middle for long I fear...

Wait till Sunday at least. Although it was good to read that Boycott thinks Peiterson is mentally weak and throws away his wicket.

  17. Hi again Dave, fellow Jones here again, In addition to the 700 class Black Motor what about some wagons for it to pull? Some of those road-rail trailer 6 wheel milk wagons - the wagon with a separate milk tanker road trailer (not sure of there correct name). Both Hornby and Dapol do the 6 wheel tanker but the road trailer version isn't even available as a kit. I think these would be a winner. Cheers G.

  21. 700 Class Black Motor !!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. A big yes please to an S15 , a Q Class and a 700 Class Black motor. Or just one of these, I for one would snap up a couple as I'm sure would a few other southern modellers. No glamour here but absolutely necessary for Southern Region freight and secondary services. Thank you Mr jones. From one to another. Yours Sincerely G. Jones
