  1. Does anyone have a spare GBL County that they would like to sell please?
  2. Are you sure it's not called Dave?
  3. Still no sign at Sainsburys in Wellingborough. Looks like they might have stopped stocking after the County no show as well.
  4. Hope I have better luck finding these two as our local Sainsburys didn't have any Counties. The first time it hasn't had any GBL models and everywhere else local stopped months ago!
  5. Thanks Nelson - I suspect it's even less likely south of the border!
  6. Does anyone know whether GBL are selling in Ireland? I will be over there when the 'County' comes out.
  7. One of mine from the afternoon. I don't know about the brick pattern on the tanks? Makes her look a bit like a tavern car!
  8. Great to see 4144 in the sunshine at the front of the engine shed this afternoon. The finish on the side tanks indicates she will look magnificent when finished.
  9. Stephenson' s Rocket and one coach.
  10. Thanks, but take care of yourself as the top priority. Regards, Nick
  11. Hi WeatheringMan Did you post your fix for the GBL King cab windows? I seem to have missed it. Regards, Nick
  12. I have copies of a few of the London division local coach working books. These detail the formations of stopping trains by class of coach (ie. third, van third, composite, etc) and whether gangwayed or not. If you have a specific time period in mind let me know and I may be able to assist. Nick
  13. Two Kings bought at Sainsbury's, Wellingborough, this morning. Not too bad apart from bent handbrake handles on both tenders and connecting rods detatched from wheels on one - but did push back into place. Reversing lever doesn't quite reach the ' box' in front of the cab. (Oh, and wrong colour for a GWR loco!!) Rivet detail on cab roof so, I presume, Hornby rather than Lima?
  14. Issue 19 - Princess Royal Class, now on website.
  15. Butler Henderson now shown on the website as issue 16.
  16. I believe 1401 was still in wartime black livery with 'GWR' on the tank sides but with the 'GWR' painted over by three patches, each side. In the film there certainly appear to be patches on the tanks.
  17. Thanks, but we have to credit 'Northduk' with that phrase since I was quoting his post and messed up including his username!!
  18. I'll have to try your method Chris. I'm very interested in your build as St Blazey shares several features with my box. My effort to date (including wonky roof)!
  19. Thanks. I made a signal box roof, using similar construction methods to yours, but found after a while the edges started curling up. I think though it was probably because I made my slates from plasticard and used plastic weld to fix them to the roof!
  20. May I ask what thickness of plasticard you used for the roof slopes please?
