  1. As I said my personal opinion. However I said spiteful, by matter of fact of, as previously said, Hornby looked at it in 2016. At that point they decided nope, were going to go with the Class 87, and fair to say, no other company had that on their agenda. Yet a little further down the line Cavalex said they would give it a go, Hornby suddenly have an interest in the Class 91. It's like watch my dogs, they don't want their food but they won't let the others have it. The little players want to do a model justice, Hornby suddenly had plans dating way back to bring it out too, Yet Bachmann's produce a Class 90, no interest from Hornby.
  2. Personally I think its spiteful from Hornby. Now this isn't Hornby Bashing by any means, let's be fair it would be naive in thinking that Simon didn't know about Cavalex's efforts, and continued with announcing the Class 91. Yet realistically having just released a pretty decent Class 87, I am sure Hornby's efforts would of been better directed into an equally decent Class 86, which would be a better option for all. Yet Hornby decided to pick on the "up and comers"

If I don't answer when she texts/phones (usually because I'm busy) She keeps sending messages every 10 mins !! enough to really get on my tits so I answer. I sent Brian an email every day he did answer after 3 days !!! He is a one man band and you really shouldn't have to hassle him, but it worked me

  17. Again another one of our jobs !! Basically the job has not changed, BUT the main to main crossover at Biggleswade has become so degraded that Network Rail has plain lined the crossover!! with the necessity that 6L69 has to go to Welwyn to crossover to return to Biggleswade, shunt the yard and continue to St Neots, again to crossover and continue to Bow. Hence the Top and Tail 66s Network Rail estimation is 12 weeks said crossover will be out. But wisdom concludes Brexit may be closer !!!!
  18. Basically Brian is a one man band. However I will say my missus provided the solution, I wanted an order from shawplan. and the missus basically spams my phone when she wants something which I find hugely annoying and I answer to shut her up. Not that I condone this but 2 emails a day for 3 days and Brian answered !! But his service is second to none

  21. Done exactly the same with 60040 !! left holding the body whilst chassis went south. Basically make sure the metal is room temperature not cold, and using hand pressure only bend it back straight, a little at a time, don't use too much pressure and do it bit by bit . Mine went back slowly then had to replace buffers as they were mangled Good luck
