  1. Not on goods from the 'enemy'. Excellent work Martin, I really will have to give these a go at somepoint. Like Bryn says, they've got real potential in 2mm for subtle effects. Have you had a chance to try out the 'Jo's Sister' varnish yet? Pix
  2. Sorry wedding, Reading beer festival gets my attention today.

  5. I think this statement applies to how the blasted stuff is pronounced - the blokes who develope it, produce it and market it at work all have differing views! Pix

  9. I've got one on my phone, I'll upload it when I get home and have got access to Youtube. The raising and lowering pantographs on one of their electrics are also impressive. If we were to have British stuff to that standard, I think it'd be a time to call the nurse to bring the emergency trousers.... Pix
  10. Roco have done with with some of their coaches, complete with DCC sounds. It's incredibly impressive. Pix
  11. Very impressive EP... what thou is the etching? Pix

Thanks gents! Me, an artist? Pfft... I'd make Tracey Emin look good. ;) Just working for one of the companies that makes Gouache and other things. Had a quick look around the factory as part of the induction - there's enough paint in there to keep the whole of RMweb weathering for a lifetime!

  16. Blimey Rich - There's not a lot to tell that's 2mm from first view! Really impressive stuff. Where do you get your 3-links from? They look very nice! Pix
  17. Are you sure the 38:1 and 14/28 tooth gears would work Don? Drawing it up in CAD I think that 38 tooth helical gear would foul the m*ff carrying the 14 tooth gear. Pix

  19. Did anyone get any results from this? I phoned Richard shortly after the original posting went out to try and get hold of a 4mm 88DS. I think I caught him at a busy time as he was flying out to Australia the next day but assured me that if I dropped him an email, he'd let me know when the bits were available (IIRC he had the etches but not the castings, or vice versa) and it should be around Easter. Easter came and went without hearing a sausage and after a couple of attempts of making contact with him I gave up. Pix

    EBay madness

I've got an overdraft, I'm seemingly unemployable and I'm not forcing anyone to buy them. From previous listings it seems people are prepared to pay the price and if so, I'm prepared to sell some of my stash. Maybe I'll buy some socks if they sell. Pix
