  1. Here are the 4TC cabs. Next stage will be to drill the holes for the handrails.....does anyone do fine flat strip, otherwise its Nickel Silver wire.
  2. Jumpers made up and fitted today along with the cab windows and a bit of paint added. Pictures to follow.
  3. Good that’s exactly my opinion 5 amp plus paint. Looks like 10amp fuse wire is only available on a reel rather than a short length on a card.
  4. Only two weeks in the builders have got on very very well. Old extension, garage, carport and conservatory demolished. Old foundations removed and new ones poured. Slabs and brickwork up to just below floor height. A couple of views of the room for the layout. It'll be approx 12ft 6ins by 10ft 6ins before the plaster goes on. The other bit you can see is the new garage.
  5. A couple of photos showing a start on the cab end jumpers for the 4TC....what do you think, 5amp or 15amp fuse wire? This is the 15amp This is the 5amp
  6. An underframe photo of the 4TC set. The crew steps to the TBSK have yet to be added.
  7. Thank you. I think the Chevettes are the best model RailNscale have done so far, nice sharp details.Managed to get all the underframe details added to the 4TC set this morning. I’ll post a picture later.
  8. The latest batch of RailNscale cars are now complete. I've just ordered a Chevanne and a couple of Range Rovers plus some chimney pots, also some NEM bar couplers of varying lengths and a Reliant Robin ( looks like a Rialto ) from other sellers on Shapeways. Here are a couple pictures showing all the cars from RailNscale that I've done so far. Cavaliers and Chevettes. Volvos, Skodas and Peugeots.
  9. A wee bit of progress with the 4TC. All the windows have now been cut out and the cab has been sprayed the correct yellow. I've got some fuse wire from Wilko to make up the jumpers. The cab can then be glued complete into the coach body once they are finished. Rattle cans of Rail Blue and grey have also been purchased. Various diameters of Evergreen tube are being used to make up the various air tanks and some American Limited coach parts are being used for battery boxes, isolating cocks and other underframe details.
  10. Got my balance to pay email earlier this week too.
  11. I’ll say no more than two out of four! There is a contact details proforma on the website, or use railnscale@gmail.com
  12. No, won’t be any 1/76. They don’t even do 1/87. I imagine the cost would be prohibitive.
  13. Had an email from Maurice at RailNscale today. I had asked were there any plans for some British cars that sold well in Europe. He has quite a few projects on the go including some of British Leylands finest. I won’t list what was mentioned but hopefully we won’t be disappointed. He did say that anything that isn’t in 1/148 yet he will make from the 1/160 Models, just let him know what you want.
  14. This might help with production dates as Luton started later than Antwerp building Cavaliers, so for some time all were imports. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vauxhall_Cavalier
  15. Many years ago we had a family holiday Berwick, just north of the town in a chalet......Deltics all day what wasn’t to like. I’ve also stayed at a holiday park next to the railway line in Tenby about 1982 that had a camper and tent area.
  16. Camping is a big thing in the Netherlands, lots of people have there own pitch.
  17. Renault Trafic campervan also in 1/148. https://railnscale.com/2018/08/11/renault-trafic-camper-van/
  18. Some good beers from Sussex....and Yorkshire and Cornwall. I’ll precis that....I like beer!
  19. It’s worth dropping Maurice an email, my replies were quick and I’m sure he would be open to suggestions, especially if they were Paneuropean.
  20. The Chevanne has now been released by RailNscale. With or without delivery man. https://railnscale.com/2018/08/09/bedford-chevanne/
  21. I have The Molasses three pack on order too. No invoice sent yet. I expect they are still plodding through the orders.
  22. Not tried the Partridge, very much enjoy Hophead. I’m going south for the exhibition in November......not as far as you though.
  23. Had Europcar in York give us a Citroen C1 when we had booked a Ford Fiesta. Day we took it back spotted the tax disc was a month out of date.
  24. One of my colleagues in Control put out a pager message to say that the trip wires had been activated, needless to say that generated a lot of panicky phone calls, even though it was the S&T that had set them off. I always thought if a plane was low enough to hit them you would know about it!
