    has discovered that the Bachmann NYC liveried ALCO RS3 is the hardest model in the world to get hold of! I'm on my 3rd attempt following two previous "I'm sorry, we have discovered it is out of stock" emails! Fingers crossed!

    Can anyone tell me what the snow levels are like in the Rossendale valley area? Blackburn/Burnley or Bury/Bolton areas will also be okay. Trying to work out if this weekend's visit to the in-law's is a good idea! Thanks!

      I'm around Burnley & all the main roads are clear. The only snow is up on the tops but all main roads in & out are fine.

    Typical! Major disruption between London Bridge and Croydon...only FCC trains running. What do they provide? A 4 car unit! Its a bit cosy.
