  1. i know this post is from a while back, but collecting info on these wagons, couldn’t help notice the extra details on the brake linkage above the solebar. Can I ask what you’ve done there? thank mark
  2. So this has got me thinking... Was it just the Grainflow wagons that were air braked? (Design code PA004 Lima variant), or would any of the former Maltsters or Distillers wagons been air braked (Design code PA003, Trix Bachmann)? trying to count ribs on the side of the mixed wagons on WHL pictures cheers Mark
  3. Oh I like the look of these etches, I'm going to email an interest
  4. There's a similar one in the trees in the at the old Station at Pitcaple north of Inverurie. On the Aberdeen-inverness
  5. Thanks David. And reading back through this thread... Please keep posting.. if I hadn't found your posts I'd still be struggling to figure out what to do with these OTAs.. now I have a plan and can save on parts too. But I really must finish the Engineers AB wagons thread I started donkeys ago before I dig out another project. Mark
  6. I like this technique. Might give it a go for my OTAs. Looks like you've cut off the axle guards without affecting the height and attached direct to the bottom of the chassis? Cheers Mark
  7. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154508342128 So these just arrived, and they're rather good actually
  8. Found someone on eBay selling 3D printed ones, I'll see how they go
  9. Does anyone know of a source of the yellow container spigots? I'm looking for some along with a replacement buffer. Bachmann can't help.. Cheers Mark
  10. Perfect.. I'll be after some of these and probably something similar for my engineering wagons (ZDA ZCA etc) I'm doing.
  11. I sure am. I used the etched ladders and walkways for the Metalair PCA, got a bunch more of them to do. Along with BCC ones. After I get round to finishing these Engineers wagons, I have VGA, VDA and VAA that need doing. That's before I order some FPA prints
  12. Cheers, the project isn't dead yet. House move and lack of workbench getting in the way
  13. That's perfect thanks. I'll probably be in for a couple and wait patiently to see what comes in the future.
  14. All the discussion of what ran where and when, especially in relation to ScR region. Has me wishing I had bought more of Dennis Taylors site before it was taken down
  15. This is Epic, I know the ScR TSOT & BFK used were Mk2C. So might get the Michael Harris book out or see if tooling for C's is in the pipeline.
  16. These are simply stunning. I had forgotten I had ordered them actually before I went N... Ah well back in the box
  17. Yes, the easiest part is cutting up the FO and creating a corridor interior. Getting the BSO brake section cut into the correct proportion is the nightmare
  18. Now I've done a BSO/FO cut-n-shut to a BFK in OO ... Wonder if I could do it in N
  19. My email has been responded to, I thanked them and said I understood we are all under alot of pressure in this climate. so I'm being patient
  20. Hi folks, Does anyone have any recent idea how things are going here. I have an order in since the beginning of the month. Not pulling the communication chain just yet. Cheers Mark
  21. Given that current passenger levels are at 23% and there will be service cuts in the December timetable, I don't see anyone getting bent out of shape to get a full fleet.
  22. yeah see my post on wednesday
