    So this has got me thinking... Was it just the Grainflow wagons that were air braked? (Design code PA004 Lima variant), or would any of the former Maltsters or Distillers wagons been air braked (Design code PA003, Trix Bachmann)? trying to count ribs on the side of the mixed wagons on WHL pictures cheers Mark

Please keep posting.. if I hadn't found your posts I'd still be struggling to figure out what to do with these OTAs.. now I have a plan and can save on parts too. But I really must finish the Engineers AB wagons thread I started donkeys ago before I dig out another project. Mark

    I like this technique. Might give it a go for my OTAs. Looks like you've cut off the axle guards without affecting the height and attached direct to the bottom of the chassis? Cheers Mark

    Perfect.. I'll be after some of these and probably something similar for my engineering wagons (ZDA ZCA etc) I'm doing.

    I sure am. I used the etched ladders and walkways for the Metalair PCA, got a bunch more of them to do. Along with BCC ones. After I get round to finishing these Engineers wagons, I have VGA, VDA and VAA that need doing. That's before I order some FPA prints

    All the discussion of what ran where and when, especially in relation to ScR region. Has me wishing I had bought more of Dennis Taylors site before it was taken down

    This is Epic, I know the ScR TSOT & BFK used were Mk2C. So might get the Michael Harris book out or see if tooling for C's is in the pipeline.

    Yes, the easiest part is cutting up the FO and creating a corridor interior. Getting the BSO brake section cut into the correct proportion is the nightmare

    Given that current passenger levels are at 23% and there will be service cuts in the December timetable, I don't see anyone getting bent out of shape to get a full fleet.
