  1. True Mick but it was the niche side of things I was getting at. I too will be looking at Some HIA wagons! Paul
  2. Why not? Other niche wagons have. The FNA flask wagons spring to mind. Paul
  3. Not a typo. I have looked at the Hatton's site. Paul
  4. I would have bought 8 at £40 ish each but not at £83. Paul
  5. The review says 2 different paint schemes only 1000 of each. Released this month. Paul
  6. Rob the reference to Hull the good old is a water mark on the picture. It refers to the Facebook group Hull the good old days Paul
  7. Merry Christmas Alain. This is a great looking layout. Everything seems so perfect without looking busy. Keep up the good work! Paul
  8. 66067 with 66097 on the rear waits to depart Beverley in East Yorkshire with a return working excursion back to Kings X on 19th Dec 2015 Paul
  9. Couple of shots from today at Barnetby of 60039 on Iron Ore and 60092 on TEA Tanks. Paul
  10. I remember the waste oil tanks at BG Alan. The turntable went to the south Devon railway. Paul.
  11. There was talk of a repair facility for the new Drax bio mass wagons here and some vegetation clearance took place but it seems to have fallen by the wayside. Paul
  12. 47851 (with 57601 on the rear) picks up passengers at Beverley with a Bridlington to Edinburgh Charter on 12 Dec 2015. Paul
  13. Rob, Previous track renewals had made the passage under Argyle St Bridge slightly out of gauge to steam locos on charters. In fact one hit it's chimney under the bridge hence no steam locos into Hull Paragon for the last few years. Hopefully this will now be resolved. Paul
  14. Some pictures of the engineering trains around West Parade North Junction in Hull. Lowering the track under Argyle St bridge on the Scarborough line. All class 66's but rumours of 68004 visiting during the small hours. Paul
  15. Love the map depicting operating areas.perhaps something that could be adopted Paul
  16. In recent months Network Rail have also installed fencing at Ferriby and Hessle stations at the end of the platforms to prevent access down the end ramps. I guess other stations are also affected. It just seems a waste of time and money as the type of youth who would wander down can easily go round the edge or worse still jump on the track and go round! Paul
  17. Its a nice looking model. The rail wheels retract/drop but are out of gauge! Not sure wether a motor can be installed! Paul
  18. Not got the 66 yet but the unimog arrived today. Not had a good look at it yet but fitting some kind of motor looks to be tight! Paul
  19. On the disused stations site it says Sandholme was demolished in 2012 following a failed rebuild. Paul
  20. Viewed from the Humber Bridge. 6th May 1985 and 45122 storms through Hessle with the 13.22 to Hull to Brighton. One of my favourite pictures I have ever taken! On the right Clive Sullivan Way is almost complete, taking cars away from the built up suburbs and along this new route ( a good chunk of which is former railway land) into the centre of Hull. The empty land above the third bridge was Priory Yard Sidings. A huge expanse of land distorted by this compressed view. Paul
  21. Your photography is superb Dave. You moved house and yet the pics have the same lighting as at the beginning of the thread. Paul
  22. On the sky box and have yet to watch it. I recall Chris having some sort of stroke whilst filming this series hence the long delay from the first series. Paul
