      Around here apart from the quiet trains and the social distancing/queueing in shops, it seems to have returned to normal.  The main road was like the Isle of Man TT races over the weekend!

    Just been browsing a few Hornby Facebook posts and the comments from what can only be described as 'Hornby Apologists' are quite hilarious.

    Just 'enjoyed' 1S11 - 40 Minutes down at Worthing. Much fun to be had by all as the train was talked past each signal between Lynminster and Goring-by-Sea. Well done to the RMwebber guard (Mr Upton!) for taking the time to update us all!

    Just seen one of those 'surely that never happened' photo's. A class 42 delivering stone for the M25 construction. The last one that caught my eye like that was a train of HAA's from Radstock to Didcot.

      I believe the same Class 42 made it far south as Gatwick Airport on the same train where it turned around. I have definitely seen a picture of it!

      From the footage I have seen it looks like an average poor driver who got spooked by an ambulance coming up behind him and lurched off the wrong way. I would also bet the car is an automatic.

    While waiting for a DPD parcel van to move out of my disabled parking space outside my home. We watched him spend five minutes sorting the back of his van out throwing parcels from side to side untill he found the one he wanted which he threw from the front of the van to land by the back door even though upside down you could clearly read the words This way up and Fragile

    Did Lima change the paints on its models? I have been stripping some 31s down to the bare body, and the triple grey ones have been soaking in brake fluid for nearly 2 weeks and still it hasn't all come off.
