  1. Hi "Maybe then I may buy a product without it sticking in my throat to do so". That is spot on Andy, as the last two years i been feeling the same, and not just with Hornby.
  2. Wish the rain would stop, so i can get out and cut the lovely ply i have, never had this much rain before.

  3. That's the last T34 done.

  4. Strange to see Lima back on a train set box again, flash back to the 80's.
  5. This is good news, But what will the point work be like?,......Will the blades be 4 feet away from the stock rail when open, this i have never understood why you need such a large gap for the wheel flanges to pass through. so i hope they do something about that with these new points, also sleeper spacings of British track work, will they do this, Or keep it like it is for code 75/100?. Mind you if the flexitrack turns out to be right i can see this selling well, save a lot of time laying track, (i know) and it will be cheaper than C+L track, I think this is a good move by them.
  6. Hatton's have them at £83.00 still, so may not drop in price, hope they do drop a little bit as I think the price is a little on the heavy side for a wagon.
  7. Good news indeed, But I hope they give this model smaller flanges as the Adams I could not run on C+L track due to it hitting the chairs. I do not understand why they fitted it with such large flanges, Hornby and Bachmann seem to get away with using finer flanges on their models. Well pity the Adams would not run on my layout as I was really looking forward to getting one, so please Oxford do it with finer flanges.
  8. I see a few other shops do this on ebay, so not really new, saw one shop showing they had the Sentinel that was not going to be out for three months. I wish they would stop doing this as it dose not help and only causes confusion and frustration for the unwise.
  9. Hi Ray Looking very good mate and coming on so well, you can never beat hand built track looks so much better than Peco track. Keep up the good work mate. Darren
  10. £127.50 for 121 bubble car and that Hattons giving an estimated price, so could come out even at a higher price than this.
  11. Hi Where have Bachmann said they are going to do the 121?.
  12. What a party last night, still feel out of it today, Happy 2016 to you all

  13. I would love to have one of these on my new layout, but i do hope they make the flanges smaller than the Adams, so i can run it on C+L track.
  14. Went into town today and popped in to the model shop and saw the Oxford Adem's mind you at

  15. Real pity about the flanges being so big, I was going to get one, but finding out it bounces on C+L track i think i will wait till the Hornby one comes out. I hope they take note about this and move away from the pizza cutters. Darren
  16. My God Ray no stopping you, you're like a beaver with that wood. looking very good mate and coming on so well, keep up the good work. Darren
  17. Makes the Bachmann one look like something from the 80's.
  18. I am shocked this model is being made in the UK and not China, it's about time someone brought it back to the UK. Looking at this loco I have never seen such detail before like this done on a 4mm loco, stunning.
  19. Has anyone run one on C+L hand built track, do's it's flanges hit the chairs? . As i have on order the early crest one.
  20. The 121 bubble car, hit the chairs on my C+L track, had to get a set of ultra scale wheels. I do not mind changing the poney wheels, but do not fancy having to change the driving wheels.
  21. Not good weather for going out on a motor bike, bit windy.

  22. Hi has anyone ran one of these on C+L track work? ,as i am planing on getting one . Looking at the flanges on the wheel i worried it's going to hit the top of the chairs, like my Hornby DMU did. Darren
  23. They do look good, but one thing way the joins running round the tank?, or will these not be on the finished one's?. Darren
  24. I am getting the early crest one, even though this loco never ran down here, i still want one. I am going to look for some rail tour plates and run it like that, if i was doing a show and at home just run it anyway,it's a very good looking loco. They will sell well and i hope Oxford carry on doing railway models not at silly prices. Darren
