    Curious how I put in a bid for £67 on an item with 15 seconds to go yet the winning bid was £66 and I didn't get it.

      Happened to me the other day - there's sometimes more of a time delay than you think... Don't take it down to the wire.. ten seconds maybe 8 secs before then anything shorter and the land of perpetual regret beckons!
