Thanks John, All good at the moment. It would be great to see you if you do get down here but I think we will be back in lockdown soon i am hearing rumours.
Cheers Peter.
I did this coach over 20 years ago so I couldn't say for sure if it is correct. I did try and get things right and would have tried to find the right number I am sure someone will know.
Cheers Peter.
I have managed to finish off a few projects before Christmas. 45052 has been on the workbench for over a year. 25912 is now finished and I have painted some westhill wagon works trollies and plonked them on the platform.
I had the air brush out weathering some 00 stock the other day and had some paint left over so made a start on my Heljan dogfish and catfish wagons.
Not finished yet but getting there.
Thanks for that. I will see how I go but I am thinking of using ash from the wood heater.
I am not sure what the colour of fly ash is so I need to find some pics but but I can always add some darker tint.
Cheers Peter.
I was planning on getting the Inter - City one but the thick orange line is no good to me hopefully they will fix it on later releases if there are any.
Cheers Peter.
As far as I know the fly ash workings out to llandudno Junction finished in about 1983. I have imagined it ran until 1986. If it did it might have had a class 58 vice class 56 now and then. 58s did work out on the coast on driver training runs in the mid 80s.
I need to get some loads sorted for these wagons does anyone know the part number for the parkside loads. These are the old type Hornby MGR.
Cheers Peter.
Thanks Al,
A useful tip re fitting the wheels. I will look into getting some of those buffers and wheels, I didn't notice any buffer housings when i opened up the kit but I am happy to get the ones you suggest as they look spot on.
Cheers Peter.
The loads do come out fairly easy, I did some for my Seacow wagons and they don't come out very well so a magnet would have been a good idea.
Cheers Peter.
