  3. Thanks mate, it looks OK with a class 47 sitting under it too
  4. Thanks Paul. It does I am still getting used to it. Cheers Peter.
  5. Thanks Mark, I have freshened up the ballast a bit in the station area.
  6. Thanks mate, it took way longer than I wanted but I am pretty happy with it.
  7. So I finally got a phone after having a loan phone for 4 weeks. In that time I have finished the station roof.
  8. It would be great to catch up Andy.
  9. Hi Andy, Just been catching up on the latest project looking good so far, Really like the working signals. Hopefully you don't go to Eastleigh too soon you will want to run your class 66s again. lol Cheers Peter.
  10. Thanks Rich & Andy, Still here. looks like recent pics, cant be viewed yet but i am guessing it will get sorted. I have made more progress on the station roof so will post pics when I get my phone fixed. Other news is all being well I will be in the UK from 11th to 30th of May. Cheers Peter.
  11. Thanks mate. I am sort of copying llandudno.
  12. No worries Ian, I am not 100% sure on how I will do it yet but we will see how I go. Cheers Peter.
  13. Hi Ian, Yes Styrene sheet and brass wire with some Styrene rod used as well as I had lying around. I used a sheet and cut 5mm and 4mm lengths to form the main part of the roof. Cheers Peter.
  14. Thanks Paul, The roof is causing me some problems but i am sure it will look ok when its done, I might have to make a few changes to the station building or even re build it at some point I will see how it looks when it's done. Cheers Peter.
  15. Probably time for an update. Recently finished some steel loads for a couple of BRASS Also made a start on the station roof.
  16. I imagine the crew would have been in the office drinking tea with the station master the office is just by the loco. Had a bit of a snooze in the cab of a class 47 once, and having been in a few class 60s I would imagine they would be quite comfortable.
  17. Only time I have ever seen an 08 at Brockenhurst though they did do a change over now and then from Bournemouth to EH and back overnight.
  18. The 08s are looking great Ian. Here is one of 08854 having a Sunday out at Brockenhurst on a P way working. Cheers Peter.
  19. I would like a 120, and a 104 which I have the bits for it's just finding the time to do it.
  20. More great pics. I am not a fan of 142s and 150s but I do run a couple on Llanbourne as they were part of the scene back then.
  21. I am not sure when they went to North Wales but 142s were running by 87 88.
  22. I hadn't noticed the narrower top red band. Might have to do that on some 4mm ones I haven't finished yet. Cheers Peter.
  23. I have ordered a couple today, so have been looking at the Paul Bartlett site. It looks like the yellow air pipe was removed early 80s I certainly don't remember seeing twin piped VEAs when I worked at Eastleigh. Also looks like the black painted bufferbeam and lower door runner was more common later in the 80s possibly after some had been in works for overhaul. mid to late 80s wagons seem to have black paint behind the TOPS panel. Plenty of variety for us modellers to tweak our models.
