  4. If they use a Hornby power bogie like in the 59 then that would sound good to me too.
  5. They never seem to have any shortage of partners or problems reproducing either.

  9. No problem. The steam chips are good value for what they are but the diesel ones are the best if you can find them now. I made a short video of my layout where I have quite a few TTS chips in steam locos, these all have better speakers than were supplied.
  10. I would be tempted to do a cv8 reset in case the acceleration deceleration parameters have been fiddled with. Chuff synchronisation is not possible on TTS but the best investment is to pair them with a good speaker. The Hornby ones are cack and there are lots to chose from at only a couple of pounds. I use Roads And Rails for my replacement speakers. Good luck.
  11. They only needed to make it over the finishing line Andy.😁
  12. Thanks for an excellent show, had a great day out and was lovely to be back after the covid hiatus. Busy enough not to be too crowded and some really good layouts, particularly liked Strood Dock being a Strood resident. Came away with lots of bargains so will be in the loft after tea unboxing them. Chris
  13. I think they would most likely use the capability to add a stay alive that the new Hornby txs chip now has as a plug and play option.
  14. Bargain price Metals class 37 https://www.kmsrailtech.co.uk/4mm-oo-gauge/3114-class-370-37275-stainless-pioneer-br-railfreight-metal-sector-livery-regional-exclusive--803393054106.html
  15. I'm glad Hornby are continuing to invest in dcc but an honest question about the new sound chips - do you think the volume of sales will repeat those of the original TTS chips ? Personally I liked the no nonsense plug it in and off you go and have a niggling doubt that whilst this new system is clever it's not as straight forward as before. Whilst it's unlikely now I was hoping we would get some new preprogrammed chips.
