  1. Hi, Cawoods ran from Blyth, as illustrated here: "56113 throbs out of Weasel Hall Tunnel, Hebden Bridge with 6M21 Blyth to Ellesmere Port "Cawoods". 22/7/88." Cheers! Fran
  2. When @Irish_R_M needs a few minutes away from CAD, this happens....
  3. JPAs arent on our radar. Anyway, I think we need to make something other than cement wagons. considering we've done 3 if you include our Irish one! Cheers, Fran
  4. We have been sent these pictures from a customer of their P4 conversion, about 8 mins per wagon and very straightforward, which is good news! Do look well for it too... Cheers, Fran
  5. Sales of them in accessory packs have been very strong, which is great. Mind you, we do them at good value. We have instanters coming with the PCAs too, same gig again. They're also quite lovely
  6. They are intended to be purely cosmetic Bob, just very nicely done (we were most impressed when we saw them first time, well done to China on that one) Cheers Fran
  7. Hi everyone, Not sure quite how it happened (internal investiagtion ongoing, with a view to provide a right good hiding to parties responsible later!) but it looks like we have indeed created what many customers have badgered us for lately; an unnumbered wagon! So, fill yer boots and convince us we should do more in future. Since these also ran in TOPS with the Blue Circle boards in some cases, they make for good conversion fodder there too. Sorry everyone, we will do better next time. Cheers! Fran
  8. See it more as getting free loads with the other wagons rather than getting charged extra for not having a load in this pack. Over a large run such as these the loads become very cheap. The cost in the PFA is the die casting of the wagon. Of course, you could Just buy a pack with a load on it if you feel it’s more value for money? Cheers! Fran
  9. Cheers Damo, we do as much work behind the scenes first before announcing, so waiting times are reduced. Cheers! Fran
  10. Doing a bit of research on that at the moment Robert, but if they're the same I can see them on 42ft flats in the future... Cheers, Fran
  11. Hi Mark, Best course of action there is to lobby the manufacturers we have done N gauge tie ups with already. You might persuade one of them! Cheers, Fran
  12. Hi There! Both! They ran in block trains but they also ran mixed with 16 ton and 21 ton mineral wagons, also we have seen photos of them in mixed trains with vent vans etc. HTH Fran
  13. Pity we pushed it before this came to light, production is already under way!
  14. Hi Bob, Looks absolutely superb. I know you’ve been excited about these for a long time. I’m delighted that your day has finally come. Cheers! Fran
  15. Hi Cloggydog, Both the buffers and screw couplings are available as spares on our website https://accurascale.co.uk/collections/buffers/products/br-oleo-op2-sprung-buffer-pack-pack-of-8 and https://accurascale.co.uk/collections/couplers/products/screw-link-couplings-pack-of-8 Thanks for your kind words on our wheels and how you went about converting to EM. We had specified 26mm axles and built it into our CAD for ease of conversion like our HUO but for some reason it was changed. As you found out it takes a bit of additional work than we desired and it’s our fault for assuming we would get back what we designed but it was a small change we missed, so it’s on us. We will be extra vigilant in future, but we have begun experimenting here and it looks like your method is the most efficient. Not huge work, but a bit more than we planned. We’ll post something on this on our blog later this week. Apart from the slightly trickier than anticipated regauging of the cemflo they seem to be winning universal approval and have sold very fast. So much so we have pushed the button on extra quantities of the existing running numbers to service demand! Thank you to everyone who has purchased so far, it’s great to receive this support with our second 4mm model! Cheers! Fran
  16. 26mm Porcy, having a family bereavement in the last couple of days has not helped my headspace or typing abilities. Apologies. Cheers, Fran
  17. Hi everyone, Confusion seems to be reigning here, and we’re a little fried after a busy weekend. we specified 26mm axles for the factory as we followed the template of the HUO and advice we obtained from the likes of EM gauge society and scalefour society. It seems that China has given us slightly smaller axles than we asked for. When we get back to Dublin and get down to business in the next day or two we will have a proper analysis of this situation and find a workable solution and inform you of how we went about it. Our designer will be on the case from tomorrow morning. At the end of the day we want to make these things as easy as we can. The Cemflo seems a bit of a challenge but we will get there. Cheers! Fran
  18. Day two on stand 62! If you’re in the area drop by and say hi!
  19. We are a fan of those vans in fairness, so you never know! Cheers! Fran
  20. Hi Douglas, can you send this as an email to info@accurascale.co.uk and mark it for the attention of our technical director as I believe he has a solution? We will post it as a blog on our site too during the week after the Ally Pally madness dies down. Cheers, Fran
  21. Hi there, Around the mid 1990s as Arran said, so lots of interesting traction on them too. Cheers! Fran
