    Living reasonably close to Hattons, take it from someone who was there yesterday to grab some bargains that behind the calm of their front desk it is bedlam! At least two vans departed with postal orders whilst I was there and another was being loaded. Anyhow, some useful tastiness acquired as future projects continue to ccome into focus....

    Some finished items for your perusal... The Ex LNER Dia 172 van, destined for an Engineers rake. Another ex LMS medium open awaits its load of spoil/spent ballast. The finished initial Grampus awaits its own load of spoil/spent ballast.

    Further activities on the initial grampus wagon. Another side view, showing the lifting link in the brake gear. A view of the end step provided in the Rumney Models etch and the wagons end. The nickel-silver etch for the underframe baskets - easy to fold up and well thought out... The final fettling beckons and then the paint shop...

    Some fresh activities frae darkest Cheshire. Progress with a Grampus. Starting with the Dapol body, Bill Bedford sprung w-irons are present together with bits from Ambis, Rumney Models, LMS Models and Dave Bradwell. A Rumney Models etch combined with modified Parkside open wagon sides. More to come soon..
