  1. Penzance 1978, Frome North 1978, Frome West (downgraded to ground frame) 1974, interior (token machine) 1974 (frame) 1976.
  2. Is the round point rodding still there? Attached my only decent picture of that rodding.
  3. I think the first picture of Barry is behind Petherick sans backscene - based on the trees sticking up. Wyndlesham Cove featured on the original 'a lineside look at model railways' video.
  4. OK, so it's a ground frame (not a BP) - but interesting nonetheless, Quintrell Down in 1978, Roskear Junction 1997, and Truro first in 1976, then in 2012.
  5. Primer on what material? For metal/brass I use Upol acid etch primer - comes from Halfords.
  6. Weathering practice. Old Hornby Dublo bodies are excellent, you can also practice stripping off paint on those.
  7. Par was on page 10 (much later), here in 1997, with St Blazey and Goonbarrow Junction. The single token is out for Newquay. Is that a certain Captain Kernow of this parish I spy in Par?
  8. Into Cornwall. Menheiniot 1986, Liskeard 1978, Combe Junction I covered on page 7. Bodmin Road 1978, Lostwithiel 1978.
  9. The trouble with forums is that photos can and do get removed by posters/copyright holders/moderators, so if it's gone ...
  10. Well, I found it - there's a reference to it on page 6.
  11. Staverton in 2000, Buckfastleigh - exterior in 1975, interior in 1987 and Totnes (in use) in 1978. I first visited Buckfastleigh in 1969/70, it was a bit of a shock to see it in 1975 with the expressway (in the background) cutting through.
  12. This one was in Warrington, but I couldn't get near enough to read the name, plus don't have any books on that area. Missed a connection at Bank Quay, an hour's wait! 2007. Plus Dinting in 1987.
  13. I'm not familiar with Seamer, is that a former box?
  14. This video is interesting. Note how the entire workforce could leave Filton in 15 minutes. It takes longer than that to get out of the car park these days!
  15. I thought this was a model railway forum, it's more like a bus forum
  16. And this in Malta - affectionately known by ex-pats as Clapham Junction.
  17. No the sailing club storage area is across the footpath I'm standing on. Unless at some point in the dim/distant past there were fishing boats there.
  18. Burnham on Sea has the well known extension of the S&D onto the pier, but round by the sailing club is this bit of narrow gauge.
