Well, just sent off for my PCV license forms. Got to give it a go!

As far as I understand it, I can carry up to 8 passengers as long as it's not for hire or reward and the vehicle can be a maximum 7.5 tons. I think 122 is somewhat more than 8 tons and has 74 seats. The museums I am involved with organise vintage running days where they give free rides on the old buses but they insist all drivers be PCV qualified even if they don't need to be. It's probably for the best just in case of any incidents. I don't think any driver CPCs are required...

Today's earworm. Victoria by the Kinks. Top tune but I prefer the Fall's version.!

apparently Chester PSB is the only "can-do" box when it comes to granting line blockages...

Having a rough evening at the workbench tonight, MP3 player keeping me going with some good tunes. Just about to lose it with some electronic bits and chuck them across the room when "Horizons" by Genesis comes on the MP3, a tune that's always made me stop and enjoy the moment ...1minute 41seconds later all is calm and I'm chilled out again. The power of music eh?

wants to copy and paste a few hours into the day between getting up after nightshift and going back in to work again. There always seems to be too much modelling left over after the free time runs out.
-
Four 12 hour day shifts have put a crimp in my modelling motivation. Off for next 4 days from tomorrow now so it'll be time to warm up both the soldering iron and the coffee machine! Loads to catch up with!!!!

"Lining"..."transfers".....two words that I no longer think should be seen in the same sentence..now where's me lining pen? Could't possibly look any worse, even if it's me that's working it....

Just leafed through the free copy of the Beano that came free in a newspaper today. Apart from being far more believable than the paper in which it arrived the words "fart" and "bum" seem to have crept in since I last purchased a copy ...which was when adverts started appearing in it. Harumph etc.....
