      Found a piccy of a blue grey one on Paul Bartlett's site but it was in 1968. Probably still working as a passenger brake rather than a parcels van.

      This has come up in various threads, some did get blue/grey early on but no other pre-BR BGs. Mainline used to do a 4mm model

  3. is wondering in if BT have switched off the email system. coz all 3 of my addresses are saying I've entered an incorrect password which is blx as I've never changed it...ever.

      Yep when the BT E-mail plays up it asks for my password, after a day or so it goes away, so I assume they've fixed it...

      It would suggest that your account has been hacked. As beast says, an immediate change would be advisable.

  9. It's just stopped raining over here in Wrexham/Chester. Feel sorry for the lads and lassies running Steel Steam and Stars this week they've had a wettun'. Hope it all went OK.

      keep it thin down the front and build up the back corners to get the right shape. Oh and if it's a rocking grate. make sure the linkage works correctly!

      ebay, BIN price 995. Not bad, sold in 2 days. Glad the thing's gone to honest. Happily driving a Rover 75 diesel estate now. Same power (chipped to 155bhp) and twice the MPG!

  16. Just fitted a new grate and grate support in my 99T Parkray. Should be good for another 30 years. Flames now roaring and radiators warming again .aaah!

  17. Just leafed through the free copy of the Beano that came free in a newspaper today. Apart from being far more believable than the paper in which it arrived the words "fart" and "bum" seem to have crept in since I last purchased a copy ...which was when adverts started appearing in it. Harumph etc.....
