The player was Alvarez, he scored both goals in open play. The "penalty" was taken by Messi.

Our best ever offer for RMweb Gold / World of Railways plus access
mezzoman253 replied to AY Mod's topic in BRM Magazine
Hi Andy, Just a small thing when you have time please. I took up the offer on Saturday and I'm still showing as a Premium member, when I access the site, rather than Gold. Everything else seems to be working OK. Thanks, Rob -
New DCC controller "ACE" from Sig-na Trak
mezzoman253 replied to Mike Storey's topic in DCC Discussion Topics (not questions)
Being a ACE-2 user, and presumably on their mailing list, I had the following email from GFB Designs on the 11th Nov'. Added as not see this previously posted. Rob "Greetings from GFB Designs Please note that our business model has changed….. All sales, marketing and product distribution is now being handled by GLR Bespoke services - a well established outlet for model railway products, based in the Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales. The new arrangement is that everyone buys Sig-naTrak products through GLR. That said, any traders will still enjoy the current rate of discount and new trade customers are welcome to contact GLR. You may already know, but a chap called Steven Dodd heads up GLR. They can be contacted via their website at www.glrailways.co.uk, by emailing sales@glrailways.com or by telephone on 01446 789084. The DAC22 is now available, currently with a lead time of 7-10 days, and the development of the ACE-3 controller continues (release date TBA). I will continue to handle technical support enquiries, either by email to: gfbdesigns05@btinternet.com or by telephone on: +44 (0)7968 057919. Many thanks for your custom and continued support! Kindest regards, Fraser Proprietor - GFB Designs" -

Yesterday on the way to my Covid booster. Old guy on a bicycle approaching the main road(which I'm on) from the left. Double hatched lines for him to stop at. No just comes straighout and luckily I miss him. On the way back 2 kids on electric scooters crossing the road at an island by a mini roundabout. I expect them to just rush across, which they do. I have to brake on the roundabout and nearly get rear ended by the car behind. Then an older lady jogging, not facing the oncoming traffic and in the road. There's pavement on the other side. I have to slow right down as we're approaching a blind bend and can't safetly overtake. Eventually I pass her on a clear bit of road after the bend. She has ear buds in and is totally unaware of me and the crocodile now formed. Rob

I wonder if this particular shop is struggling to survive ATM. It does seem to have gone OTT on emails in the last month or so. Also I don't like their "Cookies" policy. Rob

DCC Programming Track - Easy-Build Guide Required
mezzoman253 replied to latestarter's topic in DCC Help & Questions
Be aware of certain limitations of a simple switch, see this page for reasons https://brian-lambert.co.uk/DCC_Page_1.html Scroll down to Programming track section. Of course with a completly separate board , as the OP has made(very nice too), this doesn't apply. Rob -

Yes they exist over here too. 👎 When purchasing you need to look carefully at the product details, or if in store check them out. It does seem a retrograde step, but hopefully they won't catch on once people realise the bulbs aren't replaceable. Rob

Andy, Thanks for arranging all this. I've signed up and all seems well. Even if it hadn't gone to plan, it's worth the £12 for what you get normally. Rob -
Hi, They are 47 ohm resistors. They should be easily sourced, via eBay or electronics sites. They shouldn't be too expensive, and you need to get the same size and wattage surface mount devices (SMD). I don't suppose there's a diagram for the circuit? It would tell you what you need. Good luck with the repairs. Rob

It had been happening a bit during the "troubles" so I didn't flag it up as Andy had enough on his plate. But it seems to do it all the time now. Possibly a setting we've changed or has been altered during the swap to the new servers? I'm sure it'll be something simple. Rob
