  1. Back to 00 gauge today...a pair of Bachmann class 20s, weathered and soundfitted with the superb Legoman twin 'paired' soundchips. Regards, Lee.
  2. Heljan 0 gauge class 37 wanted. Morning guys, a request for a change! I am after a Heljan 0 gauge class 37/0 centre headcode box.....preferably blue, but anything considered. Drop me a line if you have anything you wish to part with. Regards, Lee.

  4. Another class 37 ready for work on HLJ. A gorgeous, hot sunny bank holiday, and we see another dirty beast emerge from the workshop Another Heljan 0 gauge class 37, centre headcode, finished as 222. An interesting one this, one of the very few to retain it's bodyside steps, and unplated panels throughout it's life. Original bufferbeam cowlings retained, the only ex works part of this loco are the recently fitted air pipes after a visit to Doncaster works. Shame they couldn't be bothered to run it through the washer.

  6. Morning folks. Just finishing a few odds and ends before a couple of bank holiday weekend days off back to house refurbishment Heljan 0 gauge Deltic, repainted (not by me), weathering by me.
  7. That's pretty dire quality. I bought some of these a few years ago for £19.99, quite a hike to £79.99. They didn't have these issues back then.
  8. 4mm again today. A renumbered and weathered Hornby class 08.
  9. And still on the class 25 theme, yet another one, this time in 0 gauge. Heljan, numbered as 25207, weathered, and sound fitted.
  10. One of the new Heljan 00 gauge class 25s, weathered to a suitably tatty condition. Door handrails have been altered to fit a tad better.
  11. Hi Peter, nice to hear from you, I hope you are well I remove the painted black around the marker lens sockets....they are meant to replicate lens rubbers, but weren't present on sealed beam marker lenses. It makes a surprising difference.
  12. Heljan golden ochre class 31, very lightly weathered and soundfitted.
  13. Some oddly coloured and shaped locos rolling off the production bench this week. First up the Heljan 0 gauge class 17. Completely unfamiliar with these, never seen one for real. Numbered as D8576, weathered and Legoman sound fitted.
  14. Afternoon guys. I think last week was the first week since business began I didn't put a post up! A very, actually quite taxing week preparing a number of 0 gauge locos. 5 class 37s, a 25, and a 31. All of the 37s had their bufferbeam skirts removed, reshaped, and edge profiling added. New kick plates, headcode boxes, and roof fan grilles, plus the completion of the nightmarish sanding and filling, and rivets re added on the bodysides. The class 31 has had its old nose end doors removed, and new PH Designs ones added. Bodyside footsteps, and boiler roof panel added. Hopefully these will all see primer this week. Some nice locos will be coming out of this lot.
  15. Another Heljan large logo 37/4. Renumbered as 37412, cantrail stripe and additonal lamp brackets added, as running after transfer from Scotland to the West country. Sound via Legoman and a big EM3 speaker. And yes, I have correctly located the bufferbeam ETH jumper
  16. Not at all. But I too am a one man band, and see good communication, answering emails and phonecalls as the number one priority with the business. I simply don't understand how this seems to be such a difficult task. And thanks, I knew the previous C&L owner very well, service was generally exemplary.
  17. Yet folk have spent the last 48 pages doing just that.
  18. Always seems to have been some issue since day one.
  19. So I placed an order via email, received no response or request for payment. Asked a friend to place the order, response by email within the day, payment sent, and a month or so later items in the post. Come on Peter, what have I done wrong?
