I have several good wind ups when they ring including 'my land line won't reach into the computer room' which can get entertaining if played along. I have even been asked my address before and they even took it down word for word without realising- 999 Letsby Avenue!

Dave has been working on the station boards and has just forwarded this pic of both boards together- 45 128 (Centaur) heads south with a Poole bound passenger train as 56 013 heads a northbound MGR service.

Hi Andy, certainly something brought it down during the night. We're a fair way from the epicentre but it's a plausible explanation! We were hoping that the layout would 'make the earth move' for spectators but not necessarily in this fashion! -More likely Simons sound fitted class 50!!!!

One step forward............... Over night Saturday a large sheet of plastic decided to fall from my overhead storage in the garage- First job Monday morning an unwanted repair Luckily not too much damage, and soon patched up-

Yes it's York correct to all those who said that! Not my actual home depot as I was attending a meeting there today! -

Sorry no- 'freezing' I'm afraid. -
Wiring work is progressing at a pace and now well over 25% of the layout is fully finished for DCC operation. Dave is doing scenic work ageing the now mostly redundant platform. - picture shows the almost finished platform end just awaiting a dulling down.

There are some up sides to working on the 'big railway' and a view from one of the mess rooms isn't too bad. Should be easy to identify if anyone fancies a guess! -
