  1. Yes I had already made them DCC then upgraded the lights. You can upgrade to DCC using the existing lights if you want. But I would recommend the light upgrade.
  2. Do you have pictures to show the difference of the upgrade. I found that with the Voyagers. But the trick was getting the lenses to the correct length and all flat. Picture shows before and after on different units.
  3. I'd like to see the end results please with your light kit upgrade. I've used their kits on Voyagers which improve them significantly. Just bought some 170 kits but not done a 66 yet.
  4. And the same white van man..... Really nice outer box which is really solid. Poly tray is a bit disappointing, thought the loco would have had a plastic insert similar to the current individual packaging. Otherwise looks excellent... Well done Bachmann....
  5. I read there has been a few changes in personnel. hopefully things will improve going forward.
  6. Just had a notification from Fedex to say mine will be delivered tomorrow.
  7. That was quick, I didn't get notified until Thursday regarding the 00 sound fitted. They arrived ok, did you mean a fed ex bag?
  8. I think the sound on the last couple of Bachmann Sound Fitted 66's have been much better quality. I've got the G&W and DB 66100 and the sound is better than I've heard before..
  9. That's a good offer, all my original wagons were £19 from Hatton's, but to replace them now you'll be paying £40 plus at today's prices.
  10. Seems we are all going sound fitted on this one....
  11. Yes they were Freightliner and they are at Dapol at the moment being investigated. I assume all the Fastline FEAs were produced at the same time being a single release in 2009 which clearly comes down to an issue with that batch of material. I personally have a bigger issue with my Freightliner models. Doesn’t seem to be any issues reported with the GB ones yet.
  12. The original batches of Freightliner and GBRf came out late 2008 & early 2009, I ordered my first lot in Aug 2008. The original batches of Freightliner FEA's all had a B724 number with a suffix A to F, subsequent batches over the years followed up to M or N. The GBRf all had a B740 number suffix A to F, subsequent batches followed. The Fastline Limited Editions came slightly later I believe. The newer models all start with 4F-044....
  13. Two of my sets have now gone back to Dapol for review. Looking closely at them they do not appear to be a metal weight encased in plastic, they seem to be a solid casting. It looks like a single mass, no joins anywhere for the encasement, and the crack shows a metallic surface. But I may be wrong.
  14. I checked all my other wagons tonight..... Disappointingly one of my Fastline wagons has gone the same way, these have remained in the box unused and unrun. Major cracking on one end but on the other end, around the hole you can see an air line crack starting from the hole running centrally both ways. Presume this is some sort of stress fracture.
  15. Last night decided to give my spine wagons a service, clean the wheels and oil. To my horror two wagons in different sets portrayed a crack down the middle of the underside of the body, seems to go from hole to hole, this is the worst which has also cracked through the rib. Anyone-else seen this issue.
  16. I think the Pullman set is much easier to configure, but if the have tooling to put the hole in for the LED I’m sure they can make a moulding for the light housing for the NMT.
  17. Somethings got to give, probably everyone's wallets !!
  18. This was a bit of a surprise to me, I know the last batch of TPE sold quickly but wonder whether there is a demand for more, especially the DRS Compass blue pair, but we will see....
  19. I wouldn't want be the person who signed production off......
  20. This should help, picture of actual model posted earlier is central, the stock image is one door to left next to grills. The image on the link to the prototype matches the stock image.
  21. Although the other side on all photo's I've seen sees to be on the two central doors, so one side appears correct.
  22. The transfer appears to be on the wrong door, checking the proto and stock image.....
  23. I’m specifically looking for a hand wheel for these wagons that comes in the detail pack. If anyone has a spare please let me know. I’m happy to pay a contribution for it. Thanks in advance. Now sorted, modelled and resin printed.
  24. Looks as though most of the wagons have now been sold apart from the Kernow editions, I wonder weather Revolution would consider a re-run but with different running numbers ?
  25. Did it come in the original box ?
