  1. Its a Robel Mobile Rail MaintenanceTrain, a workshop on wheels apparently....
  2. I was relating to the Aggregates livery more so the Class 66 itself, I don't think GB work stone trains in that area do they, mainly Freightliner ?
  3. So no Aggregates 59 for you then Tom...
  4. Hopefully the Class 59 will come fault free, fingers crossed, their is no reason why the issues identified by people on here and on their own forum should be addressed with modifications to the tooling during the colour migration period. We all know how well the 68 runs so should be no questions on running qualities. Personally I'd like an Aggregates one but I know the Bachmann Class 66 66711 in the same livery suffered from poor sales and hung around shop shelves for ages. The same could be said for the Hattons G&W liveried Class 66, but possibly due to the colour issue. But hopefully in the next batch, should the first be sucessful, a 59203 / 6 in G&W and a 59'0 in Aggregates would go nicely with my new Dapol hoppers !
  5. That's one good thing about Dapol they release many versions of the same wagons but with different running numbers. If you take the HIA Hoppers for instance there have been twelve green and six white wagons released so far and six more to come...
  6. I know it's probably nitpicking but I've just noticed on the video that there is a colour difference on the two wagons in this capture of the bearing covers and lifting points, wondered whether it is the difference between an inner and outer wagon, I guess it may even be right to prototype ? The wagon on the right is an Inner.
  7. I presume all the outer wagons have one set of buffers and a tail lamp fitted on one end. I wonder if the tail lamp is removable as against the loco the lead wagon is not going to look right ?
  8. In the description below the photograph it still states 25060.
  9. Surprised they didn't do a loco in the latest large DB logo red livery, maybe a 66113 will turn up.....
  10. I wonder who's purchased the most, I've got six !! G&W, Biffa, Cemex, LL, Royal Scotsman x 1 & One
  11. As you may have read I raised the issue of fracturing wagons in the Dapol section. Unfortunately I have a couplre of Fastline Wagons that are cracked. Dapol don't have spare Fastline Wagons so looking for odd wagons or a set that might no longer be required in your collection. Can also trade a new Freightliner set as an alternative option. Thanks
  12. Must be, certainly showing as you say, arrived into stock yesterday according to the facebook post..
  13. The Bachmann website sais it's expected in June/July and doesn't state 'arrived' so unless the web page hasn't been updated it doesn't appear as though the Northern or GWR liveried samples have arrived in stock as yet.
  14. Will pay a realistic price for a good quality item. Thanks
  15. Yes, I sent them back at the end of April, took just under three weeks for inspection and return.
  16. I had the two sets back that had been cut up but with no explanation as to why they had fractured. With the returned samples they sent two new Freightliner sets as replacements.
  17. One of the Hornby wheels has a plastic bush. So it's insulated from the axle.
  18. During my investigations I did speak to Olivias and they confirmed they were the new wheelsets.
  19. The Network Rail DVT from KMRC which happens to be 82124 and was released some time ago also has silver windscreen surrounds as per the photo in the link.
  20. Lots of photos on flickr sadly show it as being black rather than silver. But presume Hornby got this scheme from somewhere...
  21. I’d be interested to see your mods in a picture please Tom
  22. The most important thing is getting the back to backs right and the wheels on the axles parallel and running true to each other. But it is quite an easy task. I can send you some more pictures if you want.
  23. Are you DC or DCC ? I thought the lighting options on DCC were excellent...??
  24. Excellent models, full control over lighting functions. Really good slow speed running qualities. I've got five and two spare bodies for swopping over. They look great on engineering trains....
  25. Need new transfers, wonder if latest releases will include the new logo...
