I know what you mean about so many of tasks to do, I started my US switching plank in April 2010 which still has plenty to finish on it, I've bought some TT locos, track and wagons but no layout started yet! I'd also like to do an HO Czech layout and a US Freemo module for next year! So many things to do and buy so little time and money

I have ordered from Ben-Model and as you say very well packed! I like the Goggles I have a Roco Bardotka(72923) in the same livery still in the box waiting for funds to be able to buy a sound chip......

I saw these wagons on Ben-Model, they look very nice although not cheap at 116 euros for the 3, how do they compare to Roco, Tillig and Piko in detail and finish?

Chris, looking great, I love the Springfield loco, that scheme really looks good. I have an SD26 in Springfield, my favorite loco.

That has a lot of operationg potential. Based on the prototype you can have a good mix of freight and passenger services. Wonder if I can fit that into TT scale on an 8ft board............. So that's 13 points and a double slip, are you planning on buying the Tillig point kits to save money?

I was looking at this model on www.ben-model.cz when they had their 10% off at easter, unfortunately it wasn't in stock, in the end I bought a Kuehn 372 CD which arrived yesterday and is a great looking model, although it did take some effort to remove the body in order to put the DCC chip in! Does anyone do a DCC sound project for the 720?

I really like those double deck Coaches, I've just ordered one in TT scale.(Keuhn 41263) Looks like an interesting track plan, but rather alot of points for a smallish space, I count 15, i'm not saying it's not right just thinking of the cost of all those points!

Today I received some coil wagons. These are Roco sliding cover wagons. They have good detail and there seems to be some packets with extra/spare bits to add on. The thing that struck me is how much smaller they seem compared to a US HO freight car Is the US stuff really that much bigger in reality???

I've gone mad and bought some FS wagons now! They are covered steel coil wagons in FS livery? I'm also doing lots of research on Catenary, i've ordered a single Sommerfeldt FS mast as below just to see if I think I can put something together. I'm unsure what other parts I need yet!

Right I've gone and done it, I've ordered some Italian locos! First up is a Rivarossi d753 well 2 of them actually. One has sound and the other is DC. An HR2207 which is Sistemi Territ with DCC sound, secondly an HR2200 which is Rail Traction Company DC. the plan is to put the DCC sound into the RTC one as I couldn't get the RTC with sound. secondly I have bought 2 Roco D345 locos, one original green, the other in XMPR, both of these are DC, so sound will need to be ordered for these. I will probably go for ESU lok sound V3.5 or V4. These were purchased on EBay and have yet to arrive.......

Can you tell me the name of the layout in pics 6 and 7?
