  1. I've been modelling US HO for a couple of years now and I have started to get interested in the Continental stuff. My interest was sparked by seeing a Piko electric in arriva trains livery, this led me to looking at other continental locos and being impressed by the various models diesel and electric and the amount of different types available. Having done lots of research i'm starting to learn the differences of the available manufacturers with regard to quality and amount of detail. The other factor is the cost is slightly higher for locos and wagons than with my US stuff. That's all for now, i hope to update further with my first purchase...
  2. So where can I buy these or any other CP stuff?? Does anyone do a ready to run model of the 1800 ?
  3. I would like to recommend http://www.prairieshadows.com/ who are in Canada. I have just bought 7 HO Intermountain special run hoppers from them. They took 14 days to arrive with me in the UK. All told including all VAT and postage they worked out at less than £27 each which isn't too bad for a limited run! Here is a couple of photos for you to enjoy. The usual disclaimer applies, no other connection other than a satisfied customer.

  9. Love the layout, some great detail and some great scenes. I would love to build a layout in my loft. I take it that the travereser is the Walthers one? Is it worth the money, cause I know they cost a bit? Could I also ask what kit the Diesel tanks are, Knightwing maybe? Great work, very inspirational, I love the blue diesels just my era
