A Dakota DC3 just flew over our house... oh what a joyous noise, I could listen to that all day long...!

Almost went off railways for good this week due to monumentally bad vibes and low moral at work, but having just come home and looked at the good Cap'n Kernow's lovely shots of the Falmouth Branch am now perked up somewhat - cheers CK ;O)

Sorry to here your news Phil, hope he's feeling better. Cheers chaps - been a really strange couple of weeks, job's falling to bits and nobody 'upstairs' gives a stuff... workload is through the roof, we're several drivers short, moral is at an all time low and our customers are getting the wrong end of the stick, thinking we're all workshy lazy ****'s! Talk about piggy in the middle...

Another birthday in the bag and another year that's flown by... where do they all go? Daft thing is, I can remeber things from nearly forty years ago quite vividly, but forget what I had for tea last Thursday...

Damn those cable thieves!!! Temporary Block Working between Daw Mill and Nuneaton again today causing no end of grief for passenger and freight alike. Clamp down on the b*gg*rs at the receiving end and the thieving toe rags will have no excuse to nick the cables in the first place.....grrrrr, etc...

dangerously tempted by the lovely G Scale 78xx Manor I've just seen in the modelshop near Princes Risborough station... make it stop!!

Delving into previously unexplored corners of the good ship RMWeb.... hidden treasures at every turn with lots of inspiration to boot ;O)

doubled headed Manors in the dark on the SVR last night... magical! Was it really this good back in BR days...?
-
Dug out Colin Gifford's 'And Gone Forever' from the book cupboard just now and heaved a big sigh... ;-)

Enjoyed one of the best days ever on the SVR yesterday with D821 and D1062, especially once darkness had fallen... I can still hear those mighty Maybachs now. Deep joy, well done the DTG & WLA!
