    Sent mine back about a 2 months ago was a quite quick turnaround ,once again it was a thumbwheel that went wrong they replaced it free of charge !

    All now solved ...the decoder has given up the ghost ..sending it back to Digitrains !

    Morning all I have installed a Digtrax decoder in my Bachmann 37 lights work ok in one direction but when reversing direction no lights ,if I press the lighting button they flash but don't stay on ,have i got a faulty decoder or is it a CV problem Ta ....

    Had a flyer given me of the Pontypridd Model Railway Exhibition in the Museum Sat 23rd November 10 till 1630hrs and Sun 24th 1000 till 1600hrs

    Must confess to owning 2 pointless hills with tunnel !....think the Hornby moulds are now worn out so your nightmare has come to the end of its life Simon.....but just when you thought it was safe .....continental hills with pointless tunnels are available !

    Great museum to visit but seems a shame they are not doing anything with the Locos in open storage at Landore.

    Yes thanks for that . I did buy a Lionel hall and reverse engineered it to run on dc so might do that to the "American" Loco when it appears !

    Great topic really enjoying your posts, I have recently bought a Coca Cola wagon and some open gondolas , will see about a loco via e bay and run it alongside my Ace and Darstaed best of both sides of the pond !

    Has anyone rechassied one of these or fitted a better motor as even after tweaking it still doesn't run very well.slow speed etc...

    Talking about getting up close and personal ,I used to hate using screw / instanter couplings till I tried to couple two knuckle fitted steel wagons on a curve in the pouring rain ,soon started wishing for a set of instanters as the water cascaded down my neck !
