  5. Rod, I agree with Simon it does deserve lighting, a nice note pad and newspaper on the supervisors desk, and an off duty driver having a snooze on those DMU seats would add some lovely touches. Craig,

  13. Here here, a wonderful meet up, good to meet Martin (Gismorail), great to see Andy P become distant as time wore on as his brain was ticking over “ so that’s 12’on x amount of boards for the scenery, and y x board for the FY” & “ooh though Panniers do sound good” Many thanks for the hospitality Craig
  14. Hi Nick, the one that has the side and front view is defo an Ital van, the one with the view of the rear doors could be either a Marina or the later Ital van Best regards Craig.

  17. Looks great on that video there Jints, I am looking forward to Tuesday's little meet up and watching Andy P squirming and drooling at those 7mm bits "AGAIN" ..... he will crumble "AGAIN" and be off over the border next week with his cogs in his head whirring overtime, I bet he says "I will just 'ave an Inglenook shelf type thingy layout for a Pannier engine and a couple of wagons to shove and pull around" ... "I'll just start with one of those cool back scenes I can paint" . I'll bring my inhaler, with all that steamy kettly stock it will play havoc with my chest Best regards Craig.
  18. Sorry Chaps & Chapesses all modelling on hold at the moment .... Financial year end stuff to get through for the accountant etc Progress updates towards the end of next week hopefully. Best regards Craig.
  19. Just to echo other sentiments Chris, great article in the Guild Gazette, I read it last night, and again this morning, that should inspire a good number of modellers of what can be achieved in 15' x 2' especially those who are thinking about dipping into the 7mm scale ....... Andy P "again !!!" Best regards Craig.
  20. Hello it can depend on what era & region you are modelling ? but it wasn't uncommon to find a different class of centre car in a set, ie a Class 108 power car set with a 101 centre, also the same with class 120's etc, if you are modelling from the mid 1970's onwards, there was hybrid sets all over the country. Hope this helps Craig.
  21. That would be a nice scenic addition Rod, and I take it the scenario is Electrical engineering works / upgrades going on, hence the DMU usage ? Best regards Craig.
  22. Hi on the Railcar website there is an email link to a Guy called Eddie Knorn, if you email him with your query he will more than likely come up trumps, or if you join the website itself you can then ask a question under the individual images and someone will get back you with answer on your query, also that Info will be available for others to view. Hope that helps Craig
  23. Hello Rod a nice little update there, when I saw “New chapter” I was expecting see the words ....... third rail “cough cough” Best regards Craig
  24. Nick, ply is easy to cut out with a load of drill holes, or if you have a jigsaw one or two decent corner holes and zip round with the jigsaw
