  1. I'm pretty sure there is a topic on this in @robertcwp Coaching stock group on .io going back some. Also discussed on here as you have alluded to. Google the group and subscribe as there is some very interesting stuff on there and you'll find yourself disappearing down a rabbit hole for hours! Regards Guy
  2. "They'll never notice Terry. Bit of papier mache and some yellow......good as new"
  3. I'm 56 and I get mildly offended now when doors don't open automatically for me. Or should that be mildly confused? Probably the latter if I'm honest. When faced with the toilet door lock on a Mark 1 shouting at it to close doesn't work. I think I've lost touch Guy
  4. Great photo! With a very clean 6-wheel cell truck as well.......based at Wolverton? Surely fairly unusual on the main line by this stage?! Regards Guy
  5. Still there on the 18th Feb this year.....becoming one with the shrubbery. It's just an empty shell.
  6. D5374......for some reason I always thought the Midland 27's were all green! A filthy blue example there. Marvellous photos of my prototype era. The cooling towers look properly new age with the lighting and it all looks so......orderly. Regards Guy
  7. Read this whilst waiting at Ninian Park in the rain for 37403 to get the road back into the station after a jaunt up to Cwmbargoed.......most appropriate really! Very enjoyable @The Johnster Regards Guy
  8. C622.....I'm so glad you've reposted that.......it was a screensaver I hadon an old laptop for ages, sadly deceased! A great photo. She looks proper scabby! Regards Guy
  9. Not sure.....I bet they are Cravens or similar. There were a lot of older DMU's going through that yard from the mid-70's. There and Cohens at Cransley. A quick look at Blood and Custard discounts any two car Southern units in the mid 70s. They went earlier than that and from the late 80s Regards Guy
  10. My immediate reaction was 4-SUBS..but they appear to be two carriage units. The profile doesnt look DMU to me, but not being well up on such things i bet they are DMU's!........Mayer Newman bound as surmised I'd imagine given the brake vans. Regards Guy
  11. With E46139.......currently on the NNR http://www.cs.rhrp.org.uk/se/CarriageInfo.asp?Ref=1965 Lovely photo Regards Guy
  12. Got it cheers @DaveF ......as usual there's been a hideous hotel extension upper deck of the building next to the arch! Regards Guy
  13. Is that Castle Garth? Looking at Google maps from the same perspective it's had some retro-historical cosmetic surgery to remove a door and those front stairs. Regards Guy
  14. Bullion and coinage movement. The BSK carried police officers. *edit posted at same time as above! Cheers Guy
  15. Yep it had a headcode panel in 1983. A quick Flickr search confirms. Derby Sulzers excellent website confirms it never had domino's fitted and withdrawn in Jan 1984 still original headcodes Regards Guy
  16. I'm not premium......yet......and just about coping with the endless same video ad regarding Hornby DCC......but just had a hair loss one where normally there's a SR spamcan and some Pullmans. Android and up to date. I mean. I've still got some hair left for goodness sake! Regards Guy
  17. It's a bit indistinct but that's a normal MK1......white toilet windows. Looks shiny with a central crest. Ex York works? Regards Guy
  18. Get well soon David. I had a blood test today and on top of three weeks of some sort of dreadful lurgy I've spent all day with a hoodie on, wooly hat and wrapped in a blanket in front of the stove. And I'm only 55! Loving the photos as always. Regards Guy
  19. I might be wrong but that looks like a MK2 tacked on the back. A very unusual photo! Regards Guy
  20. 66587? Not sure if any others are such a glorious shade of pink?! Regards Guy
  21. We stayed on the grass pitch on this site next to the line last year........and excellent it was to. However the prices appear to have sky rocketed this year for members and availability has been very limited. Hopefully get back out of season next year Regards Guy
  22. C4328.......the roof of that van looks like my shed post storm Eunice! Great photos again. Many thanks for posting David. Regards Guy
  23. I must admit a double take there! A great photo.....real things that look like a model....something about the light on the loco. Class 25, LMS BG with a DMU tacked on. You sure it's not a model?! Regards Guy
