  3. The Exe Model Railway Society announces that the 2020 Exhibition will take place at the Matford Centre 27th & 28th June 2020. The existing Exhibition Manager has retired and Alan Barrow has taken up the position. All enquiries should in the first instance be emailed to train@exemrs.co.uk.   10. Just returned from there, had part tour with a 1915 car hauling a 1948 trailer. Great stuff.
  11. Saw bogies and fuel tanks off 818 in a permission visit 1985. Rest of body had been removed by then. Can't remember the 27 though.
  12. Single line working to / from point of obstruction. Would apply on a double line if obstructed as only one could be used.

  14. Once the lead driver reduces the brake pipe pressure below a certain level (Don't know what myself ) providing the banking loco has brakes coupled then power will be cut.

    Anyone have 2 X Class 141 Pacer DMU cab ends? TA Kev S
  16. Just replacing the existing faceplates was my intention. I would be wary of having mains cable attached to a permanent baseboard in a club scenario as someone might just go in and cut wrong live wire without thinking or knowing.
  17. With plenty of mains sockets around could swap the face plates for some with USB points
  18. Thanks all, looking as club options as most people have smart phones saves buying additional handsets. Hope to still retain handsets for those who prefer or don't have smart devices.

  21. Probably last in the world (77325 in Australia as well) as they were built to UK spec's. Unsure if any more were exported, ex Jarvis machines.
