  1. Interesting. Whats the maximum thickness of material you can put in, and around how much did it cost you?
  2. Hi, just want too drop by and send my appreciation.Shame to hear that you've temporarily lost your mojo I'm loving what your doing here and I assure you I've been lurking on your blog for a little while now and I'm really impressed, not to mention inspired by your work. Keep it up. I'm loving your attention to detail. By the way, are you going to fit 3 links to all your wagons? And what method do you use?
  3. Sorry if this has been posted but there's an article in Modern railways this months issue, saying that they DBS may evaluate the costs needed to refurbish between 15 and 20 class 60s. It also says that 60007 is likely to be the first loco overhauled, and that the costs are to be scrutinized by DBS to see how much it would cost to overhaul more locos and to what standard. So good news then.
  4. Ok thanks Grahame, would you mind posting a link? I can't find it.
  5. What supplier did you obtain that bus from?
  6. aah ok, would mind emailing them to me then?

  7. Thank you, but isn't it members only?

  8. I would love to see more pictures of your JGA.

  9. Fleischmann have just released a model of the same wagon your modelling here, albeit in 1/160 scale. But its looking excellent so far.
  10. Looks great! Almost too perfect though. I know the road markings round my area aren't that well painted!
  11. I think the edge of the kerb looks fine. The only thing that slightly jarrs me about the pavement is the line between the Kerbstone and the pavement stones. But seriously, i know its early days still, but the attention to detail here is amazing. Really nice to see especially in N. Also, are you planning to add weeds to the pavement?
  12. When you ballast, do you brush the excess ballast sitting on top of the sleepers off? This usually works with me. Also (assuming your using the PVA method) ,have you added washing up liquid or something similar to the mix. This is the only reason why i think you'd end up with ballast on the sleepers.

Looking nice. How about some large rocks, pebbles or mud/sand by the river-bed though or by the bridge supports.

I've found a supplier of fences and stuff. You might want to look through it and see if theres anything there that could be useful. http://www.scalelink.co.uk/acatalog/Scale_1_152_160__N____Echelle_1_160__N_.html

The folliage and track work do look very good. I'm going to have to use easitrac for my layout after seeing this. Are there many buildings round Water Orton? EDIT: I hope this is isn't too much to ask, but since you seem like you'll be making a lot of trees, would you mind showing us how you did it? Regards. Jack
  20. They look brilliant. They come with a hefty price tag though! 250 quid is a lot of money. Don't think I'll be getting one of these soon
  21. Great plan Is XTrkCad4 free?
  22. What supplier did you get them from?
  23. Thats crazy! Talking about 456s, do you still sell the N gauge one? Couldn't find it on your site.
