    That is the easy part, I used to make and repair plastic mould tools, The rivets are an easy fix, These will be little holes on the tool, They will fill those, The body curve is a new tool , That aint gonna happen,I Know that curve has been pointed out on here, Every picture I look at of the full size loco has it and is very prominent, So it is a big mistake. I model the steam era, so I imagine that if it is not corrected the modern image guys will be up in arm's.

    There is no way that those body details will be corrected in my opinion , to do those will need a completely new mould tool for the body. I would like a really good class 45 myself, And would wish them well with it, But those mistakes mentioned will be too expensive to do at this stage.

    They are on the full size loco, Square headed coach bolt's, I think these were quite common at the time as were used on wagon and coach's ( the horse type ) These are the way the wooden beam was held to the metal brackets behind it, The loco has hundreds of these square headed bolt's all over it.

    Managed to snap this traction engine today just as a loco Appeared.

    The full size had the wedge adjustment, It was adjustable from the bottom as the top of the rods were close to the bottom of the boiler barrel,Mine will be dummy.

    This is my latest build, Getting on a bit now so building a small loco but making it as accurately as I can to the full size loco.

    My wife is fed up with our's as well baz, But because of lock down, I have no paint n stuff, So I just have to stay in my workshop.

    Gile's yes it would be lovely in 3 inch scale, but im not getting any younger , Not sure how I am going to get LINDA of the bench yet, Got no chance of building a 3 inch without the wife noticing ,I am also considering 16mm garden railway as I can still build loco's and then steam them from the garage, That's all to decide later,Got to play with LINDA first.

    I have built 2 traction engine's in the past, I am pretty sure she is on to me now, I have got a set of drawing's for a showman's scenic engine thou, Need a reason to stay out in the shed.

    Mikkel, Thankyou, Yes you are right building it is more fun. I get a big kick when I steam and drive it, But I get a lot more enjoyment building them, I did promise the wife that this would be my last one thou.

    Well LINDA is all done just a few minor job's These will be done this weekend, all working on compressed air, Can not steam yet until I can get it to my local track.

    The Handrail bend that is bent around the vertical pipe on the smokebox look's very neat ,And awkward. I would have had about 6 attempt's at that.
