Hi
What about DE (Dundee)- active shed- not as big as Haymarket but most of the stock in Edinburgh went up here. The shed could be based on that. It also had carriage sidings etc so you could keep a few coaches too as well as some goods wagons.
Chris
good suggestion, its the procimity of the Waverley route that the main appeal of Edinburgh for me, thanks.

very nice, but I noticed that it seems to run slower in reverse. just curious to know why, shouldn't be a real issue. I certain don't recall garrets ever being called upon for a feat of speed in any direction! Unless it was to scrapman, in what case the faster the better :P. Anyway very nice, I shall now have to go totally mad and buy a nu-cast kit

from memory the lima model was a reliveried german diesel which had 2 axle bogies, the model had a centrally placed 2 axle ringfield type ,similar to your shunter, with 2 pivoted axles.
possible, but I'm not sure thats exactly what I'm talking about. thanks though

Are the buffers to be round or oval?
-
Good to see you back on track with this one SR, I did suggest something similar in my last post on here.
If your going to wasp stripe the ends drill the buffer and coupling holes first then apply stripes before gluing the buffers in place.
right should I cut holes in the transfer before application. Oh and GLAD TO BE BACK

I know how you feel, my blogs really dragging its heels, though thats through the fact that I just don't sit down and work on my project, and I hate to quit at anything, but give yourself a break, most of us struggle with one blog, you somehow keep three up and running, so maybe it is time to lighten the load. you could still be active in Rmweb by commenting on topics and offering advice to fledging modellers.
