  1. I'm not sure about the choke, the later metros have a friction lock rather than a twist. Easiest thing to do is try it

    Hornby B12

When the B12 was first green I'm sure hit had the black wheel centres
  10. Love the picture of the cartic in the creek sidings at Felixstowe, I didn't realise Felixstowe had handled car traffic as well as Harwich. Were the cars export or import?
  11. I always thought having hydrolastic suspension the 1800 Ute wasn't the greatest idea
  12. I suspect most people would love the sound of a flushing toilet in a camper van rather than the wheezing sound of a foot pedal squeezing a pathetic stream of foul smelling coloured liquid round what looks like a small plastic bucket with a seat!
  13. What was the catalogue you could buy in the 80s that was full of grilles for windows and horrendous Richard Grant body kits. I remember seeing a window grille kit for mk2/3 Capri with grille's on the side rear windows too! Strangely there was no carbon fibre rear sick bin for the centre console. There was also loads of graphics in there which in the day I thought some were good!
  14. That is fantastic, thanks for posting it
  15. What year was the picture 64 would be my guess
  16. This is excellent what's the story?
  17. Woodstock, Mathew's Southern comfort ( Joni Mitchell)
  18. Be careful there Andy, there were horror stories in PC magazine a while back about engines without ID . If I were you I'd find an ID plate of an engine you have provenance on What is the engine?
  19. Look at the top of page 11 of this https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.gov.uk/displaying-number-plates/rules-number-plates&ved=0ahUKEwiYvKzRz8TPAhUMCMAKHeGkAOMQFggkMAM&usg=AFQjCNE4MIBlepCngA-n2VOFtbbrWcjGsw&sig2=U-wF0AtsE8Pifr2mjAqNyw It does look like the black plate rule is rolling as they are now mentioning 76
  20. Obviously the best time to play with this would be after getting out of the bath and not getting dried! Then have a good night's sleep in a bed with asbestos blankets , oh the joys of living safely!
  21. No , the rules on black plates have also changed https://insidedvla.blog.gov.uk/2015/11/17/whats-the-story-with-black-and-silver-number-plates/ Reading this I wonder if as the 40 year no tax rule rolls out if the black plate rule is also rolling?g
