  3. I bought one like that while in the UK last year. It was by Excel (US) Paid GBP3.20. Pretty sure I picked it up at one of the numerous shows I attended...How I wish we were still there! Khris
  4. Mike, All I said was he was an antique dealer....I stand by that as being quite representative of what I do expect from an antique dealer, all cost and no quality.   8. Well something stops overseas bidders from bidding as I quite often have to ask sellers if they will allow me to bid an d if so to change the settings so that I can bid. Khris

  11. Well as a born and bred Aussie I grew up with Yds, ft and inches, then someone with wisdom/intellect or whatever, decided we would go metric. When I was working I had the issue of measuring a job in both.....don't ask me why but I tended to use the metric for larger measurements and imperial for the smaller measurements. Either way, it depends on what we were bought up with.....Imperial rules!!!! Best bit is in the Hardware stores and the young ones talk metric ....I ask them to speak english. Khris
  12. Rob, It's a board with a cutter attached. Good for doing square and angled cuts accurately. The original is from NWSL in the US and the other is from Micromart, again in the US. HTH Khris

    Was it a waste of time ?

    Personally I like it. 46444 hit it on the head with adding a bit of colour to the wire....but not to much. I would think that greys and browns.....browns to represent a bit of rust. Khris

  20. Hey Rovex, The only problem I see with them is that they are Crimson and Cream and not cream and brown. That said, they have come up very well indeed What are you doing for glazing? Flushglaze??? khris
