  1. Two buses an hour to and from Tamerton, apart from the brats school children in the morning and afternoon if there is more than half a dozen on the bus it is very busy 2 or 3 is the norm, wrinkly ninjas excepted on the first bus after 9.30. There has been no development in the direction of the station.
  2. 6% thats fairly close to rocket fuel, I'd be a gibbering wreck after half gallon of that.
  3. The one thing with the hobby holidays jig is that it is also a rolling road, which is helpful for testing. SS
  4. That would depend on whether or not the token will still need to be picked up at Budo.
  5. There will be a repeat at 6.30 or there abouts in tonights Spotlight.
  6. There's just been a bit on the Spotlight lunchtime news, that they might start work in the next 5 years, at a cost of about 30 million quid, around 2/3rds coming from the developer. That's £6 million a mile where the trackbed has already been earmarked for re-instatement, what cost to re-open the bit from there to Meldon?.
  7. That little bit that is visible looks to be redolent of the South Hams and nicely understated so that it doesn't of power the foreground. Well done CK and Rob, can't wait to see the rest.
  8. Not sure about that but I had a kit which I had got severely out of shape and I scratched my head for a couple of days as I only had a soldering iron which would not supply enough heat to take it to bits. Then whilst I was striping the skirting boards I wondered if it might do the job so I put it on the low setting and eureka, the solder starting to flow, time for a pair of smooth jawed pliers and a bit of wood to help ease the bits apart. The best bit was I didn't even singe me fingers unlike when I was putting it together, so no choice anglo-saxon of which I normally have a fairly large vocabulary.
  9. A Black and Decker paint striping gun works just as well as a gas torch.
  10. I don't know about timber coming in tbrough Bristol, but it definetly did at Plymouth SS
  11. Hi Damian We were having a discussion on the dimensions of the scenic section of the layout, can you please post them to set minds at rest. SS
  12. Have you not noticed the spam can in the middle of the trophy.
  13. I think they were great last night, although I'm not sure what my neighbours thought as I had connected the telly to the 5.1 surround sound system. i did notice a bloke near the front of the audience looking a bit bewildered though when the camera panned round early on in the set. On the whole i think the vast majority enjoyed it.
  14. There was another of those keyboard thingy's being played by one of the bands on the telly before Metalica last night from the Somerset mud dance.
  15. There are probably even fewer converted to breweries and drinking emporia.
  16. Mark That looks fantastic, if you decide to market them I for one would be interested. I also learnt something, I had never thought to tin and add bits whilst they were still on the etch. Cheers SS
  17. I think someone should ring the old bill and check out the local scrappies as the local metal thieves 'ave nicked the levers.
